This was a very clean, well-run hostel. Perhaps the nicest I've stayed in yet. I would highly recommend it to anyone staying in Melbourne. This was a very clean, well-run hostel. I wouldn't rate this hostel very highly as the kitchen is quite poor, the airco in the rooms too strong and the place generally lacks atmosphere. Nice hostel overall, definitely doesn't have a homey feel. Oh yeah, and people kept eating my food, which hasn't happened to me in any other hostel (II've stayed in over 30) And seems to attract more people with luggage than backpackers. But it's clean and close to the city centre. But I wouldn't stay there again probablyNice hostel overall, definitely doesn't have a homey feel. Not a bad hostel but thought it definitely could of been alot cleaner. The windowsill and vent near my bed looked like they had not been cleaned in years and the kitchen was filthy everytime I went in there. Also I cancelled the last night of my booking and even though it three days away and I told them at check in, the manager still charged me for this night :( Not a bad hostel but thought it definitely could of been alot cleaner. This hostel had really good location to the free tourist tram that runs around the city, and also great location if you just want to walk around like we did. Very close to Lygon St, Queen Victoria Market and maybe a 15 minute walk to Federation Squar. It was very new, felt very safe and the beds were pretty comfortable!! I've stayed in many hostels and this was definitely one of the best ones. Great place to stay, the dorm rooms are very comfortable, with a little shelf and light and lockable cupboard right next to each bunk. Bathrooms and facilities very clean. I was very impressed with this place, would definitely reccomend it to anyone, and would stay there again if in Melbourne!Great place to stay, the dorm rooms are very comfortable, with a little shelf and light and lockable cupboard right next to each bunk. The hostel was possibly the cleanest I\'ve ever stayed at in all my travels. But as for things to do in and around the hostel? There are better places to stay if you want a more central location or friendly staff. The hostel was possibly the cleanest I\'ve ever stayed at in all my travels.
