We were the only guest due to the season and had a pleasant night, the hostel is located on the Road 1 between Blonduos and Hvammstang there is a petrol station, a restaurant and a very nice view from the mountains. Most customers in the restaurant are lorry drivers and food was cheap: hot dogs, fried fish and horse meat! which my husband had, so it was an interesting experience. For breakfast the lady at the restaurant who also runs the hostel prepared us an English breakfast priceless
