We had a great time at this hostel. The staff were very helpful even though they spoke limited english and it is a short walk to the restaurants of san telmo. Great breakfast and facilities. On the downside it does not have the greatest atmosphere and is more akin to a hotel. Thanks for the great stay!

Noise was horrible at night and we couldn't sleep because there was a very high volume TV turned on the whole night. Room doors close poorly. There's only one bathroom per floor, so it can get messy and busy with many guests. Breakfast ok, travel atmosphere (not for partying) . Location is a bit far from many places (but close to subway station) and shady area at night. Staff was very helpful with all our inquiries, and her recommendations were great.

This place was great - really friendly staff and a comfortable room, good wifi, free breakfast and an amazing rooftop terrace with view! More of a hotel than a hostel, like there wasn't really a party atmosphere, but that suited us well.

A nice quite place on the edge of SanTelmo. The staff were great with recommendations. The area is a bit quiet so we needed to be careful at night getting to places. Not the place to meet people but good for a couple of quiet days.

This hostel is fine if you want to spend some days in Buenos Aires. It is 20 minutes away walking from El Obelisco, Corrientes and Puerto Madero, but there are always cheap taxis to go anywhere. It is a beautiful hostel. If you don't mind dealing with some stairs and occasionally hear some tango from the restaurant just next to it, go for it. It was worth the money and the trip. I'd recommend it.

Very good hostel! Has a good breakfast with dulce de leche everyday! The staff is very helpfull, the rooms and bathrooms are very good and clean. The room has heating and AC. The kitchen has enough space if you need to cook. If you are looking for a party hostel this is not the place. This hostel is a calm one, looks like a small hotel and has a great cost x benefit relation. Thank you very much for the stay there!

Very good location in a wonderful city! Centrally located close to everywhere, clean, good breakfast and good heatings. Staff very helpful and friendly. Atmosphere more like a hotel not like a hostel. At night sometimes a little bit noisy.

Excellent stay at VIejo Telmo hotel. Room was clean, we were upgraded and had our private bathroom, they gave us advices about places to go out. They were always happy to help even though we had a LOT of questions. The kitchen could be cleaner but the rooms are comfortable and clean. Bathroom also. Nice place to go to.
