This hostel is fine if you want to spend some days in Buenos Aires. It is 20 minutes away walking from El Obelisco, Corrientes and Puerto Madero, but there are always cheap taxis to go anywhere. It is a beautiful hostel. If you don't mind dealing with some stairs and occasionally hear some tango from the restaurant just next to it, go for it. It was worth the money and the trip. I'd recommend it.

Very good hostel! Has a good breakfast with dulce de leche everyday! The staff is very helpfull, the rooms and bathrooms are very good and clean. The room has heating and AC. The kitchen has enough space if you need to cook. If you are looking for a party hostel this is not the place. This hostel is a calm one, looks like a small hotel and has a great cost x benefit relation. Thank you very much for the stay there!

Very good location in a wonderful city! Centrally located close to everywhere, clean, good breakfast and good heatings. Staff very helpful and friendly. Atmosphere more like a hotel not like a hostel. At night sometimes a little bit noisy.

Excellent stay at VIejo Telmo hotel. Room was clean, we were upgraded and had our private bathroom, they gave us advices about places to go out. They were always happy to help even though we had a LOT of questions. The kitchen could be cleaner but the rooms are comfortable and clean. Bathroom also. Nice place to go to.

very comfortable beds, warm rooms for month of May. Friendly helpful staff, although not a lot of english spoken. wifi bit temperamental, didn{t work in the room, only in corridor or communal area. Overall a good hostel, and would stay there again.

Excellent location in the safer side of San telmo. Very helpful, enthusiastic staff. Lovely double ensuite room. Good breakfast. More b n b than hostel and prob not a great place to meet other travellers but right in the cultural heart of BA.

Really clean room and bathroom. Comfy bed, three pillows!! Gorgeous inside. Has a rooftop terrace. Breakfast was good, fresh croissants but dodgy milk, kitchen OK. Easy and good location, bit noisy at night though (being Buenos Aires).. All staff were really friendly and helpful. Thanks.

It's a beautiful house, with typical porteño style. Very cosy - rooms have air condicioting and heating, and the showers are really good. The beds are also very confortable. Complete breakfast, with medialunas, breads, dulce de leche, coffee, fruits, cereals... They change dolars for pesos (1 USD = 10 pesos , actual currency is 8). The location is very good, almost on the corner of 9 de Julio, where you can find subway and bus stations, taxis and walk for a few minutes do get to Av de Mayo.
