Well done Viejo Telmo, keep up the good work. Enjoyed our stay there. Hopefully your staff will be able to converse more in english and you will get more international business. :)
We had a great time at this hostel. The staff were very helpful even though they spoke limited english and it is a short walk to the restaurants of san telmo. Great breakfast and facilities. On the downside it does not have the greatest atmosphere and is more akin to a hotel. Thanks for the great stay!

Noise was horrible at night and we couldn't sleep because there was a very high volume TV turned on the whole night. Room doors close poorly. There's only one bathroom per floor, so it can get messy and busy with many guests. Breakfast ok, travel atmosphere (not for partying) . Location is a bit far from many places (but close to subway station) and shady area at night. Staff was very helpful with all our inquiries, and her recommendations were great.
This place was great - really friendly staff and a comfortable room, good wifi, free breakfast and an amazing rooftop terrace with view! More of a hotel than a hostel, like there wasn't really a party atmosphere, but that suited us well.
A nice quite place on the edge of SanTelmo. The staff were great with recommendations. The area is a bit quiet so we needed to be careful at night getting to places. Not the place to meet people but good for a couple of quiet days.
This hostel is fine if you want to spend some days in Buenos Aires. It is 20 minutes away walking from El Obelisco, Corrientes and Puerto Madero, but there are always cheap taxis to go anywhere. It is a beautiful hostel. If you don't mind dealing with some stairs and occasionally hear some tango from the restaurant just next to it, go for it. It was worth the money and the trip. I'd recommend it.
