The single rooms are not really worth the higher price. In my room I had to share the aircon with my neighbours which sucks as I don't like aircon at all. Also because of the aircon-sharing there was a whole in the wall towards my neighbours which made me here every little noise. Lastly, the room was full of dozens of mosquitos and there was no mosquito net for the bed. So if you go here just take the dorm. If you want a single room that provides some sense of privacy go somewhere else

Good location, okay breakfast, but you need an additional breakfast to get full. Bargain when it comes to tuk tuk to the airport, do not pay more than 30 000kip even though they say 50 000! Very clean hostel, the negative thing is that the toilets and shower rooms are downstairs.

Pros: - Free breakfast - Good location - Decent toilet/shower rooms - Lockers available under the bed Cons: - No free water - No free towels

Pretty average hostel. Good wifi. Free breakfast is pretty standard. Had lockers under the bed too put all your stuff in..not the most secure but did the job. Good location

The staff are friendly and helpful and the location is good, although Google maps showed it in the wrong place so it was initially hard to find (just opposite the Vat Mixay Temple. I was generally very satisfied but two minor coplaints. 1 there were no insect screens on the windows, so when these were opened during the day mozzies sneaked in and I felt them during the night 2. The lockers under the beds are extremely flimsy and could easily be broken into, so I felt a bit nervous about leavi

Two toilets for about 30 beds is not enough.

I like this hostel. Its cosy, clean and friendly. Its also situated nicely on the edge of Vientiane's backpacker/ tourist area. The staff are helpful and knowledgable and their spoken English good. There's 24hr wifi and free use of some computers. There's an extensive tourist service offering flights, bus and train rides national and international.

Terrific location, just a few doors away from Le Benneton, Joma Bakery and Monuments Book Store (my favorite book store in Vientiane) and Mekong River. Clean room, good water pressure, helpful staff and breakfast provided. However, the internet was really poor during my stay. Even when I was at the lobby I had intermittent signal. I am sure it was not my phone’s problem, since I could detect wifi signal from neighbouring hostels also. Other than wifi issue, this hostel is great.

Vientiane in itself isnt that great a place but this hostel at least and the people who run it are. They're friendly and helpful and there at least a bit of an atmosphere
