Hostel is in great location in the middle of the old quarter. Great walking tour everyday and staff are really friendly and helpful - only thing is they tend to promote their own tours rather than giving an overview of different options. Rooms and bathrooms are clean and downstairs bar/restraunt is a great place to meet people. Also great chill area on the 5th floor. Good value for money - so much so I stayed here twice! Only thing is it's a bit noisy at night because the bar gets pretty rowdy
Party hostel. Good if you enjoy that. But if you don't you have to walk through the bar to get to your room and it can be a struggle! The one star for cleanliness if because all of our group fell I'll from food poisoning! I'm still suffering 2 days later! Only case of food poisoning in my 4 months of travel thus far
Really good for the price but the rest racks up - the tours, food, taxi services etc are expensive but the vibe is great and the rooms are clean and nicely decorated. Cool hostel!
Great hostel. Huge party mood. For me, it was what i was looking for. Free beer, happy hours, good breakfast, awesome resources, great staff
Overall a good experience. My only major complaint: A guy staying in a different room walked into our dorm at 3 am and urinated over the window and one of my room mates bags. After arguing with the hostel over whether they needed to come upstairs and deal with it, someone mopped the floor, but didn't kick the guy out and we heard no more about it. I tried to talk to staff about it the next morning but he said he was busy. Not the hostels fault but could've been dealt with a bit better really.

A great atmosphere and an awesome place to stay and meet people. Very cheap for what you get, the rooms are good and you have a large locker as well as a small locker. Free beers every arvo as well as 2 for 1 and they give you free shots before the free pub crawl. How they can manage when you only pay $10 a night I have no idea! Only slight negative was that some of the staff especially reception and travel desk were very rude and arrogant.
Awesome party hostel! great staff with loads of trips! warning - this is a party hostel so if you dont want that stay somewhere else (would recommend the original branch!) Great tours run through this hostel too
the staff in General is friendly, but there was this guy on January 6 in the night shift that was very rude and wanted to make his problems mine, he didn't have money to give me change and first of all he asked me to go outside to look for change, I didn't,then he wanted my passport and let it in a place surrounded by many drunk and dancing people, not safe at all. The staff, specially that guy would need a basic lessons in customer service
If you want party, then it's a great place to go. If ur looking for a more relaxing place, then don't go. Is craziness all around.
Breakfast is included but for a little bit more you have to pay extra, eg. for a banana.
Atmosphere was awesome for a party hostel and never a dull night was had! Theme nights keep things very engaging in the bar downstairs, or if you'd like something a little more quiet, the common room upstairs has a Tv with loads of movies. Free walking tour around the old quarter is also worth doing and staff are fantastic.
A place filled with rich kids and drunks on their gap years. It's not a place to experience the local culture or atmosphere at all, but a little bubble of western hedonism. If that's your thing then great. Also, they charge for towels and be wary, the tours and trips they offer can be found much much cheaper outside.
Typical fun backpacker hostel: funky design, friendly staff, free beer, young people, central location etc. All in all it was great!! Sadly as it often happens people kept checking in in the middle of the night and it was super hard to pack in the morning - for the same money (or a little more - 1 or 2 bucks) you can get a private room in other hotels in Hanoi. So just keep this in mind, if you need a good night of sleep this place may not be for you
Great hostel - fantastic location and great facilities. Staff were helpful and the food was great! Always lots happening each night and the New Years party was insane!
Very nice place, full off people who want to have some party.
YOU HAVE TO DO CASTWAYS!!! yes it's expensive and yes it's worth it. We did it for New Years and loved every second of it. The hostel was also the best hostel I've stayed at thus far. Very clean, spacious, well organized and great parties. Highly recommend.
Everything is good. It looks like W Hotel, but a hostel version. The staff there are kind and helpful. Good location to have a walktour and find food. Amazing DJ and Christmas party. It's a place easy to meet one night stand. Not sure good or bad. It's better not to do it in the dorm bed.
Loved the stay here, perfect hostel for partying love the free beers and the events every night. The chillout room is good to stay in when youre hungover with hundreds of movies to choose from which is great. If you want to chillout more go to original which has a more laidback attitude and you can still go to downtown every night if you want for the bar crawl.
Great staff who are helpful and will go out of their way to assist you. Food can be a bit pricey at times but they have great drink specials. Wonderful atmosphere ,loud but social. They also offer great free walking tours. Scott is amazing!!
