This is my 2nd time staying here. The first time I loved it and had no problems and recommended 5 people, who also loved it. Unfortunately on this visit I caught one of the cleaners going through someone's rucksack in the dorm room. I found the girl whose bag it was and when she checked There was £100 missing. We reported it to reception and the girl was offered £50 from the hotel as long as she signed an agreement to not give the hostel a bad review and I was asked to sign a false statement.

Very good location, it's clean, nice and big rooms, the only "disadvantage" is that the environment is like a hotel, few common areas, apart from that, really good hostel, i recommend it very much.

I've been traveling for 15 months. Definitely one of the best hostels I stayed at. Don't forget to eat the breakfast, it's not free (only 29,000 dong) but it's amazing! Fast internet, pool table, clean dorms and bathroom. Do not get your laundry done here though! They will smell worse when you get them then before you have turned them in or they will either shrink your clothes or items will go missing. You NEED to stay here! :D

BEWARE: they warn of low quality budget tours from outside and then pedal the same bullsh*t themselves! Booked the 2d/1n mekong trip to cambodia, paid $50 to sit on a bus for 8 hours and a boat for 8 hours (boat was advertised as being 3 hours....lies!), with less than 4 hours of guided activities between both days and less than an hour of information. Not authentic or substantial at all. In the US, we call what they did FALSE ADVERTISING. Otherwise, the hostel is nice in just about every way

The staff was not as friendly as expected, but they were efficient about booking tours (the cuci tunnel tour is good and cheap), and let us check in in the middle of the night. The hostel itself is okay, not a lot of personality (the rooftop bar was closed while we were there), but the beds are comfy and rooms have good aircon. bathrooms weren't as clean as they could have been. The location is pretty good, just across the street from the backpackers district, lots of cheap food and shops there.

Nice that they wait up through the night to let you check in when your flight arrives at 2am! The CuCi tunnel tour was good. Rooftop was closed while I was there, that might have given it some more character. Location across from the park is nice, and its close to the backpackers street but not right on it, which is good because its a little less crazy!

Negatives: Booked for the roof restaurant which was closed, arrived and there were blood stains on the sheets. Overcharge for water etc. Some staff unable to speak english. Twenty minutes from airport. Positives: Free wifi, free computers. Some staff very helpful. Close to the main tourist square, close to markets.

Very nice hostel, located just outside the backpackers area. Great value for money, will go back there when back in HCMC.

It was a good location because it was within walking distance of backpackers area but still fairly quiet. The place was very clean and comfortable, we had a great view of the city from our room. For a room like this back home, we'd be paying $200 a night but we only paid $10! Only other comment is that staff don't speak English too well, so be prepared to repeat yourself. A lot.

The hostel was better than expected for the price. Not one of those "you get what you pay for" situations. It was one of the cheapest beds I found, but the rooms were all new, clean and staff was knowledgeable and friendly. The roofdeck was AMAZING! You could get a drink on the roof and gaze out over the city from at least 40 stories high. At night it was even more fun. If you needed any info on the city or getting out of the city, they had a tour desk downstairs.

Had a great stay, location is good just a short walk from backpacker area (this is good as there is less street sellers haggling you when you walk out of the hostel), it has a great view from the roof, with an excellent breeze. Airconditioning struggled to keep room cool, but was very hot in Ho Chi Minh while we where there. Great start to out trip. I would stay there again
