the view was breathtaking. the room was gorgeous and we had a pool very close by that seemed like our own private pool! Walking up the hill to it was a bit taxing, especially in the heat but we had a scooter most of the time so that wasn't a problem. A great way to exprerience Koh Tao as it's very close to the centre (you can walk there in 10 mins) but far enough away so that the noise won't bother you.

We would definately go back to stay at Viking House and recommend it to any of our friends planning to stay on Koh Tao. Four of us stayed 4 nights there and we wished we could have stayed longer. The apartment was lovely with modern furniture, spacious for 4 people and very clean and well maintained. The views were spectacular over the bay and the swimming pool was beautiful and also well maintained. The walk up is a bit exhausting esp with groceries but well worth it. Thank you.

The owners were awesome, they accommodated our friends as extra guests last minute, and we were actually able to rent out an apartment that was perfect for a group of four. The only downside was the steep road leading to the houses and the lack of maintenance/ lighting on that road

Fantastic place, your own mini apartment, shared pool (great view from pool), beautiful view of island. Owners very nice, friendly and happy to provide information when they're around. To get to the rooms are not for the faint hearted! Steep and unpaved roads, very dark at night. TV and dvd player didnt work, and bins were not cleaned out at all within the 5 days.

Our stay at the viking house was great! The owners are a swedish couple, very nice and helpful! Sairee beach is in walking distance and the viking house has also a swimmingpool. You can rent motorbikes to dicover the whole beautiful island. We are 3 girls and we would really recommend the viking house!

Very clean hostel, with great facilities ( fridge, hot water, bathroom, terrace, swimming pool etc.) and a very pleasant, well decorated room with a view on the sea. excellent location, 2 min away from Mae Haad pier and all restaurants and shops. Lovely and helpful staff and calm atmosphere, not too far from the beach ,perfect to rest and relax! it was certainly the best place i stayed in Thailand during my trip i highly recommend it!!!

Olimme Viking Housessa koh Taolla joulun aikaan 2011. Hotelli on hienolla paikalla, vuorella, josta on todella upeat näkymät. Hotelli on erittäin mukava muutenkin ja hotellin omistaja pariskunta aivan ihana. Hotellissa mukava pieni uima-allas, hyvällä paikalla. Myös siitä näkymät huikaisevat. Suosittelen ehdottomasti hotellia kaikille, sekä perheille, että pariskunnille. Tykkäsimme itse hotellista todella paljon. Paikka oli myös kaunis ja hotelli kivan uusi.
