The nearby proximity to Bucharest's Gare Nord is very important to Vila 11, and late at night we appreciated their clear directions for the walk. The staff is family-run and very helpful. On a previous visit we enjoyed a large breakfast, but this time had to catch a very early train and missed it. Our hope is that some attention to plumbing can be given since there was no hot water that day and bathroom fixtures needed repair. But the hostel is a charming old house and the price is a good value.

We acknowlege that there was an oversight in outfitting your bathroom and our staff has been admonished for this. As to breakfast, because we serve our guests a hot cooked breakfast, we need to call in our staff to respond to special requests. Breakfast is usually served from 9 - 11am unless previously requested otherwise. Tea, coffee, bread, cheese, butter and jam are ALWAYS on the table 24hours for any and all guests. We apologise if you found us less than our best. Vila 11 aims to give our guests a safe, friendly and hospitable place to rest while enjoying the sights and feel of Bucharest.

I took a taxi once from the airport and from the city center, but it was quite hard for them to find the hotel,so i would not recommend if you arrive at the hotel at late night. Hotel owner is very kind and helps you a lot how to get around the city.
