We had a great stay in the hostel. Davor and his mother are great persons. Very servicial people. With bus 18 you can go to the town centre and back in no time. It should have a sign or sth to find it easier. I would definetly go back.

The hostle is about 15 min from the beach, 2 min to the bus to the city and 5 min to go to the store, put in few words, the location is really good! The host war really nice and always friendly. We had free wifi, and a balcony which was perfect for having breakfast. We really enoyed our stay there. Even when the bead ond so seemd a bit shabby. But for the price, its perfect! I hope you enoy you stay!

We stayed in an ex-bar converted to a 5 bed room. They put beds instead of the tables. That was funny though. The place was good to stay for one night, no more (it's far from the city centre)

In Villa Anka you stay close with the really nice owners. They made our stay really nice, it almost felt like being at home. If you could put how to reach your guesthouse by public transport in the directions, that would be really great.

Really enjoyed our stay at villa Anka. Davor was beyond generous and went the extra mile to make sure we had everything we needed. He drove us into town and showed us around. We even had the pleasure to share a home cooked meal with him and his family. Great location- walking distance to several beaches and only a short bus ride into the city center.

The location is bad, quite far from the city centre in the middle of the industrial area. The room was dirty, there were spiders and mosquitos but the bedclothes were clean. The bathroom was dirty, but the owner was polite and nice at the arrival. It's really cheap.

The hostel is run by a family, and they are the sweetest people! They will let you eat the vegetables they grow in their garden, and even though their english is not so well, they are trying their best to make you feel welcome. The hostel is a bit far from the center but with the bus you will get there. When we got lost the owner came and pick us up, which was very nice. Thank you!!

Vila Anka offered a very domestic atmosphere which made it feel almost like home. The host family was very caring and lovely. The hostels compound had a very refreshing farm garden, it had all sorts.... like cucumber, tomatoes, grapes, also a fig tree and lime... Very beautiful! The guests could free willingly pick anything from the garden which was very generous coming from hosts. Alot of international people passing by. A very local area not too far from the city and beach. Positive place

Can't understand the poor rating here; Davor and his mother are great hosts, he is absolut helpful and friendly, the mother an old croatian lady that apparently loves to have so many young people in the house; if you look for a hostel to party and meet other travellers, this might not be the best choice but if you're also a bit interested in getting to know locals and their daily life, go to Vila Anka!

Even though Anka didnt speak much English, she made sure that our stay was as as it could be. A lovely lady who was always smiling! The room was comfortable and clean, the location was easily with public transport and had some little shops etc within walking distance.

Thank you so much for having us - you are a lovely and welcoming host. The room was very clean and perfect for what we needed for one night.

Its pretty far away from everything and the bus system is hard to understand as timetables are rare and the time that is indicated shows apparently the time when the bus leaves the main bus station, so its not very helpful. The house is sweet an Anka lovely, but its hard to communicate as she doesnt speak any language bit croatian.

The staff was very friendly, we were even picked up at the bus station without asking for it. The location is 3 km from the centre, so you have to walk or take busses. We had a really big room for four people, even though we were only two, which was perfect. The bathroom was not that clean, and the wifi didn't work in our room, it only worked upstairs.
