Was a pleasant place to stay & Ok place to stay if flying out early to catch a plane or coming in late from a long plane trip. Only a 20 min walk from airport & a bus stop nearby if public transports a better option for you. However if wanting to explore the city centre of Bucharest probably wouldn't recommend staying in this location.
Loved our stay here!!!! Vlad was a wonderful host and super helpful. The room was clean and very nice. If we ever visit again we will definitely be staying here!

Very practical for an early flight, just one bus stop from the airport.
Great location by the airport and the owner drove me there before my flight himself. Not particularly central location in Bucharest for sightseeing but the surrounding area is beautiful and full of small-town charm, which is nice outside the inner city. Definitely an older crowd staying here, not really the best place for backpackers or to meet lots of people.
close to airport OTP and it is nice that the host Vlad can pick you up from the airport en can transport you to the train or busstation . for a reasonable price. I payed 10 euro from the airport to the hostel and 10 euro from the hostel to the Filaret busstation. Vlad is very friendly. I will return here.
A very friendly and welcoming hostel easily reached from the airport and town centre. We couldn't understand however why the internet price (which we accepted) was a little more than their normal price.

Very nice couple and very helpful for lost tourists! They helped us finding their house and gave us some good advices about interesting spots in roumania. We were a group of 3 and we truly recommend!
Badly located, one hour by bus to the city center. Buses only every 30 min. From the bus stop it is quite difficlt to get to the hostel, street without any lighting. The room was good and clean and nice decorating and furniture.
The best place if you choose to be close to the airport (783 bus - 5 minutes). To Bucharest Central 780 bus - 40 min. A silent place, rarely disturbed by the staff, talking loud on the hallway. Tip: pay when you get there and ask no to be disturbed in any circumstance, if you care about your intimacy :) Have a safe trip!
For my needs, this place is perfect. It\'s near the airport, accessible by bus, and within walking distance of markets and currency exchange. I think it\'s the perfect arrival point for both first-time visitors and repeat travelers who need a safe, affordable, friendly and tranquil spot to catch a bit of rest before embarking on further exploration of the beautiful country of Romania. The hosts, Mr. and Mrs. Rogati, are very knowledgeable and delightful people. Highly recommended.
Good location, we were picked up from the train station and then delivered to the airport the next day. Very friendly staff.
I think Vila Gabriela in Bucarest is really advisable: comfortably near the airport, good rooms, kind staff. Roberta Barazza
Very clean pension in a quiet residential area run by very nice couple. We had an early flight and the Vila Gabriela was very convenient to the airport and they offered very reasonable drop off service. Would stay again.
Its like a granny's house. It is really hard to find, it is not clean, and not convenient to the airport. Highly recommend on staying in something a bit worth something. Pass up breakfast unless your starving. Thanks, please consider, because as long as its like that i won't be staying there!
Wonderfully friendly and helpful hosts. Hotel is very convenient for Bucharest Otopeni airport. Great entry or departure point to/from Romania. Free internet.
Its not a backpackers hostel at all... Its a small pension in the middle of nowhere. Really far from Bucharest town and not close enough to the airport to get there without bus or taxi. But its a quiet and save location with friendly staff!

Thank them for a lovely stay we were picked up from the airport and welcomed into their home.. It was clean and comfortable.
Not really a hostel but a guesthouse. Very clean with very nice stuff and a great garden to sit in.
The owners were really friendly and offered airport transfers for a small amount. It was really close to both airports which was good for us but don't go if you want it to be your main base in Bucharest.
