it's a very cool little place with a very outgoing & helpful owner/manager & some super staff...they make life as easy for you as possible...the only slight complaint would be the size & spec of the private double room, but if you are looking for a cool & relaxed place to stay, this is definitely one of the best in Sao Paulo.

I liked this place very much, it´s beautiful - you just could sit there in the garden, and ´spend a goooood time in Sao Paulo´; there are great bars around (we had luck to find a great place with a live music - I don´t remember it´s name but you may just look for it ^^), there is a cheap bar with a great food just on the corner, supermarkets and all you need (including 200 guitare shops;). The staff is VERY helpful, all you need in, just don´t think twice and go for it !! ENJOY !! ^^

Good hostel overall. Staff is helpful but overbearing. Nice of them to ask how it's going and what our plans our, but wanted to have long conversations each time. Also, we have stayed in many hostels and have never had the staff looking over our shoulders as we made food or drinks, commenting on how they like to keep things clean, before even giving us a chance to finish and clean up. And only told us about bathrooms in back the day we left! We thought there were only 2 bathrooms the whole time!

Yes, we work very hard and we are not cold. The kitchen must to be clean all the time almost our 6 toilets if you dont no how to cook clean it doesnt mather because we will clean always. We want to make new friends and not only to receive guests.

Great hostel in a super location run by guys that know the area very well and really want to help you in making it a great visit to SP. Nice and lowkey place without the young party crowd - nice

A lovely place and a little up hill hike to the metro station. The owner is very friendly with lots of helpful info. Break included would be lovely, as standard in most other places. If you like good sushi do not do to the recommended resturant on the map - it is awful!!

The hostel has amazing stuff. We planned to stay only for one night, but already after small talk with the funny guys from the reception, we decided to stay for 2 nights. Great hostel and very good location.

Easily one of the best hostels I have stayed at during my travels. The facilities were exceptionally clean and the location excellent. My stay was particular great due to the wonderful help and friendly manner of all staff. A special thanks to Bruno who was overly helpful, assisting me to book my next bus and hostel. Overall, highly recommended.

Great location, clean.. some of the staff were really cool.. but one guy daniel was quite difficult.. telling us he had booked us in for an extra night and then actually never did.. and then the hostel was booked out in high season.. Thankfully the manager sorted us out.. Also the kitchen could really do with some decent knives that actually cut..

Decent hostel, 20 mins walk from metro. Got a little annoyed on day of check out as cleaners threw out 3 of my tshirts when cleaning room. Others complained of cleaners moving their stuff around also. Other than this its a decent hostel

Owner Comment (Show)
Your t-shirts were in a terrible smell that spread throughout the room and your luggage was scattered across the bedroom floor and the cleaning staff organized. Do not forget that in a hostel you need to know along with others. Our team works hard to keep the hostel clean and organized.

It was a good city hostel. Lots of help and tips on the city from friendly staff. It was great that your room was tidied while you were out. Breakfast would have made it perfect. Thanks VM hostel.
