A beautifully decorated, clean and confortable hostel. The people who work there are really interested in helping you to explore the city and really know everything about it. The ambient sound is carefully chosen and makes you relax. The breakfast is poor. The air conditioning was not working adequately in my room, but that was not a problem at all. The hostel is not far from the subway, which I guess is the best kind of transportation. There are lots of pubs and restaurants in the surroundings.

First top in Sao Paulo and the place couldnt have been better. Location was fab and the staff bent over backwards to help - I couldnt think of a better place to stay in Sao Paulo, or one that helps you settle into south america

The hostel is very well located. It is close to a "bus only" line - paulista av. in minutes - which is connected to the metro. The neighbourhood has a lively night, which includes places to eat, to drink and to dance. It s charming the way it s organized. calm streets are home to big office towers, houses turned into stores, bars, restaurants and more. this whole mixture just fits in so well that these streets dont really seem to stop, yet having such a residencial and peaceful atmosphere.

1 Real a page for printing! Expensive! However the place was really nice, and the staff are very friendly.

I stayed in VM for 3 nights and found it an immaculate, relaxing, high quality brief home. What I have to recommend though is the warmth of the staff: extraordinarily helpful and friendly. I don't think I've ever met better hostel staff, or ones that look up information like how much storage in Rio's airport costs without you even asking! While they don't serve breakfast, there are coffee, tea, and snacks available all day. (VM - Why not offer breakfast, though, guys? It brings people together!)

I stayed in the hostel for a weekend, but I have to say it was a great experience. It's adorable, very clean and has a great atmosphere.Close to many restaurants, shops and the lovely Benedito Calixto Fair I think you'll all have an amazing time!

It's my house whenever I go to São Paulo, I don't even consider staying anywhere else. I have everything I need in Vila Madalena: incredibly comfortable beds, cleanliness all around, numerous bathrooms, wi-fi internet, a well-equiped kitchen, spacious rooms and a large outdoors area, and, above all, a polite, friendly, cheerful and dedicated staff who make you feel right at home. I'm grateful for Túlio and all the boys and girls in Vila Madalena!

Pretty hostel that seems to be in a good area of Sao Paulo. Great staff and nice indoor/outdoor common areas. No morning breakfast but plenty of bakeries nearby!

This has to be the nicest hostel I have ever stayed in. Although it can be tiring getting to the metro stop, the atmosphere is great. The staff are helpful and they have set it up in a really nice way, with hammocks, a great kitchen and living area and a really pleasant vibe with jazz and blues music playing outside.
