The most essential thing about Vila Jarak is that the owner - Milena - doesn\'t speak English. She speaks German and Croatian. For me personally this was ok, because I can speak Croatian, but if you cannot speak any of those two languages - it will be difficult for you. The place is very close to the beach - in less than 60 seconds you\'re on it. Very clean and nice too. It\'s more suitable for families though. Milena was very helpful, even gave us a ride to the port.

located in the best part of makarska. right in front of the nicest beach, with the best price/quality restaurants, right next to the sea. the room is very clean, with a fridge and a kitchenette to cook some stuff. very safe place. the owner speaks perfect french, and great english. he is very accomodating and helpful. we highly recommend, though you should read the smallprints
