This hostel is probaly one of the cheaper ones in Luang Prabang. The room was okay, the area is quiet and near the maincenter and the entrance gave us a familary feeling.

Nice place, nice room. Staff very friendly and helpful, but some with not so good English. Good wireless, but not in room itself. Laundry service and breakfast available for small charge. Book exchange.

Booked Vilay online. When we got there the woman said they had no room and she hadn't checked her emails for a week, so hadn't got our booking. Took us across the road to her sister's guesthouse which was fine and charged us same price. That guesthouse (I forget the name) had good beds etc, but staff didn't speak as good English and shower was SHOCKING. There are heaps of guesthouses all in a row on a couple of streets in Luang Prabang, so it's worth looking around for a good, cheap one.

Was a place to stay room was adequate to sleep in the bathrooms werent that flash shower didnt work either scalding hot or cold and this is fine as it was very cooling and felt like a waterblaster, the staff were never to be seen and kind of helpful we met the co owner Ben as we left he was very nice and very knowledgeable and gave us some really good information about laos and his projects for the rural communitys.

excellent location. we got upgraded to a room with an ensuite bathroom for no extra charge, but make sure to bring your own toilet paper as you're only supplied with one roll for your time there.
