It was the best. Beautiful room, wonderful breakfast. The host spoke excellent English. Carried our suitcases. Brought us tea..Ask for a lower floor if you don't want to go up steps. They gave us excellent directions to town....I couldn't praise it more..I would give it a 99%. I highly recomrnend you don't miss this one unless you want to be in the center of town....Reasonable price......It was the best. Beautiful room, wonderful breakfast. Facts:
1 - Taking the Bus 384 the trip from the train station (Gdansk Glowny) takes 20 minutes (and not 12-15 min.) ; 2 - After the 20 min. trip you have to walk for 5 minutes to get to the Hostel ; 3 - Apart from the location everything is as it should be. ; 4 - The breakfast is great. the food is in quality, quantity and variety.
I JUST recommend this Hostel to whom as car and is not alone. Facts:

Villa Alfa is a very nice hostel in Gda?sk! Very clean and friendly. It's easy to get there from the railway station. The owners are very kind and helpfull. And they prepare good breakfasts. This was the best place that I stayed in on my trip through poland. I slept well, I ate well, and the staff helped me with anything I had trouble with. This was a very excellent stay. This is a very nice VERY clean hostel run by a loverly couple. Though the location is not central, the buses are very regular and very easy to decipher, and I would trade the locality for the peace and quite. Of all the places I stayed in poland this was the only one where I was not woken at 6am by builders, barking dogs or traffic!
