Villa Aramis Reviews

Let's be honest: this is not a hostel or hotel. This is a house and the owner rents his spare rooms. He is a nice guy, and the location is very close to the tram line (only 3 stops from the city centre). Bus number 23 is good if you are c'ming from the airport but apart from that, go for the tram. It is a lot easier to move around!

Great place to stay. Free wifi, the room was very nice with TV, DVD, music player. Access to a fully equipped kitchen. Good and free breakfast. Free laundry room. Its not in the center of Nice, but you can get there easily in 10 minutes with the tram, very near to the train station too. Our stay was perfect.

The service from mine host NIcolas was indiferent..this is not a customer orientated hotel. My partner was told not to enter the kitchen for no apparant reason by a woman who appeared to the girlfriend of the host. It didn't help that the host had glasses of alcohol about the place for his consumption...I think he has a problem! Twenty people all queing for one shower and toilet.....not good..

We liked Villa Aramis very much. The owner created a very cosy atmosphere and he was ever so kind and service minded. We can warmly recommend this hotel to our friends and family. Very close to the downtown tram line so it is ver accessible to the older side of Nice. It is also situated right by Valrose University. There are tons of shops and cheaper restaurants in the area. All things said, it was a really great stay.

We had a lovely stay at Villa Aramis. A great spot, not too far from the centre. We also loved the kiwi and orange trees in the garden!

The room was extremely clean an nice, The house has a great little patio and neat kitchen, it's within a walking distance from the center. Just if you're allergic to cat's watch out for the black one - you can be surprised how fast he can get to you're room if you don't close the door:) Good place to stay in Nice!

Perfect hostel to stay with! its more like a home stay rather than hostel, tho the owner doesnt speak much english but we could feel his passion to make us comfortable! Just feels like home in there, really enjoyed the stay!

I really liked "Villa Aramis" and next time i'd like to visit again ! ^^

Very lovely staff, helpful and kind! Nice big rooms too.

The hostel is an apartment building turned hostel run by the owner. Rooms are great and have the feel of real bedrooms as opposed to typical bunk bed filled hostel rooms. Price is great. The only trouble we had was finding the owner in the morning when we needed to check out.
