Thank you for our sty at Villa Banana! We were welcomed with such warmth and kindness that we really did feel at home! You have a beautiful spot in Dubrovnik with a lovely garden and everything was delightful:) I recommend staying at Villa Banana if you don't mind walking up a few stairs to get there.

Beautiful location and very helpful staff coming to collect me from the ferry port. The facilities are very dated, there were no lockers and the place including kitchen was quite dirty. The shower wasn't dispensing cold water and the room had no air conditioning apart from the fan. The wifi was not available anywhere near the rooms which was quite frustrating That said if you are looking for good value for money and somewhere to reset your head it's fine.
Fantastic view, staff unfortunately didn't speak much English but were friendly none the less. Quite a trek into old town.
staff are very nice. loved the complementary drinks and biscuits after a long trip to Dubrovnik. definitely would recommend. WiFi isn't too flash.
Everything is fantastic, great view from the terrace, fast wi fi. A/C in the room, very clean and safe place. Parking place in garage
Really great place but is not a hostel, so it doesn't really have an atmosphere. The other downside is the location, way up a mountain, please don't walk up there on a hot day with your backpack! Highly recommended.
Nice staff, everything clean. Amazing view from the house. Free pick up from busstation. Really recommended this place
Location is very difficult to find, directions given by the hostel very vague, ended up climbing very far up from the old town. Its about half an hour and 200+ steps up from the old town. The 15 mins stated is only if going downhill. The only plus is the good view, but the place is too far from the old town and not very accessible. Owner came to chase us out 5 mins before checkout and asked for payment for luggage storage although it was stated to be free. Owner barely speaks english.
Only actually the room was good. The rest - not really: bathroom was really dirty! that's why we didn't even use one of them.. and the water - there was a boiler for hot water but nobody told us about it so after one person taking shower the second had chilly/cold water.., the kitchen-not well equipped. There were also strange rules like "please be quiet after 9 p.m. don't talk loud etc. " it didn't look like hostel, but private accomodation, little bit further from the old town than they wrote
This is the best hostel i've ever stayed. Very helpful staff, clean and comfortable
