good location, walking distance to beach, close to metro station, close to supermarket. nice staff with good english. portuguese style buliding. free drinking water avaliable. free breakfast avaliable. Too crowded and small room, wifi not so good but desktop computer with internet connection avavailable. good value for money.

Very noisy with drunk people chatting and music until late, all rooms give onto common court. Staff are useless, messed up with reservation, changed bed, broke open my locker to move my stuff, next day texted claiming I hadn’t paid and threatening to give bed away, then discovered I had paid and finally staff member Gabriel very kindly apologised for all. Nice breakfast, perfect location in Copacabana and around metro station.

This is THE BEST hostel to stay at in Copacabana. I spent about 2 hours trying to decide on which hostel to stay at, and i have to say without a doubt i made the right decision. It is in a good location, only about a 7 min walk to the beach, but the entire staff was soo friendly and hospitable, and courteous. Mauricio - the manager, was very pleasant and went out of his way for me to make sure i enjoyed my stay there. All of the receptionists speak english and the waitstaff are always very nice
