Villa Cinthia is not a hostel and it's not in Sintra! It's about 15km away. If you book the cheaper rooms you will have a room in the basement with a tiny, tiny window and charming neon lamps. The location itself is fine: it's a living house with a garden and a pool where you can hang around. But be aware that it takes some time to go there without a car. To the beach you can walk within 30 - 40 minutes. I would not go there again even the matron was really nice. It was not the best choice.
