Very nice and cute hostel. Awesome roof terasse. Great location, away from the loud centre but clîse enough to walk to everything. Great shower but the matresses are absolute terrible!

Villa Esthela is a lovely place with a very nice staff. It is nice and quite and situated within easy walking distance of the beautiful sights in Antigua Guatemala.

It's a very nice place to stay. They have a terrace for chill out, a kitchen and a tv room. Our twin room on the second floor was big and well equipped. It's about a 10-15 minute walk to the central plaza. The staff is helpful and tells you all you need to know.

We enjoyed our stay here. The security was very good. We appreciated the chill out lounge and the also liked that the showers were warm.

This was a very nice and cheap hostel, however it was quite far out of the town center (10-15min walk). There is a rooftop terrace and bar which had beautiful views of the city but for the three nights I was there the bar never opened which was a shame :(

I had a really nice time here! I ended up staying for almost a week and enjoyed the laid-back and quiet atmosphere of the hostel. the location (just a 7 minute walk) out of the center was quite nice to get away from the noise. The kitchen was good, free drinking water, and Hammocks on the roof. Staff was super nice and helpful and rooms were clean! only suggestion is to extend wifi to roof deck area.

A very fine hostel if you don't mind 10 minutes to the center of Antigua. We really enjoyed our stay, so much that we came back our second time we were in Antigua. Clean towels, barhrooms and beds, but the kitchen were a little too dirty for our taste. There is a nice bakery down the street and the rooftop terrace with the hammocks were delightful and just what we needed.

Nice little place. Our first hot showers for too long. Staff always helpful, and decent prices. Would go back!

Good place to rest. The hostel has good internet and a nice infrastructure. It could use some paint on the walls 'though. I saw some complains on the reviews about cleaning, but i can tell is really good. Maybe the impression is because the old house has seen better days. Nice terrace.

Decent hostel overall. Nothing to rave about but not much to complain about - our double room was a bit cold and damp and the hot water in some of the showers didn't work (go for the bathroom near the reception). We didn't find the distance from town a problem at all and the staff were nice. Good WiFi in the downstairs area. Not that cheap, but then nothing in Antigua is.

Great option for those who are not trying to live where the party is. People definitely still have fun here, and the rooftop is an excellent place to gather, drink some beers, watch the sun set, etc. It's not the closest to the city center but if you don't mind walking, it's worth the calmner atmosphere and affordability. The dorm beds are a bit saggy, that might be my only real complaint. Lovely staff, small, but workable kitchen, good working toilets(!), and an easy atmosphere to feel at home
