Staff did not speak English. We did not see them except at our arrival and departure.
The "hotel" is located outside the city center. You have to go there by car.

We stayed here for 2 nights and besides barking dogs just outside our window and a not-so-good location, we enjoyed our stay in this house. There is a Mc Donalds just a few min. walk away from the house, but it will take you around one hour to walk to the center of Zakopane - not 10 min. as said in the desciption... Very clean and nice breakfast too.
Be prepared for very 'solid' and a bit hard beds...We stayed here for 2 nights and besides barking dogs just outside our window and a not-so-good location, we enjoyed our stay in this house. our room was very clean and comfortable (with an own bathroom!) , the breakfast (which is included) was very fine and stodgy, the stuff was very kind and familiar. it's a little bit far from the center, but there are more bus stops on the brink of the hostel. I'm sure that we'll return as soon as possible. our room was very clean and comfortable (with an own bathroom!) , the breakfast (which is included) was very fine and stodgy, the stuff was very kind and familiar. it's a little bit far from the center, but there are more bus stops on the brink of the hostel. Really interesting and friendly stay. we were the only guests at the time and despite being unexpected were given a warm welcome and a lovely wooden room with ensuite. All tidy and comfortable. Very good breakfast included. Harenda is a little outside the main base of Zakopan but frequent and cheap bus service means this isn't a problem and you are away from the tourist buzz in a picturesque mountain village.Really interesting and friendly stay. we were the only guests at the time and despite being unexpected were given a warm welcome and a lovely wooden room with ensuite.
