Quiet, nice place up in the slope, pleasant seaview from the pergola terrace and the balcony; little but cosy bedroom with a well equipped kitchen. Ivan and Kate provide a warm welcome and pay attention to details. I've felt more like a guest than a common client there thanks to the informal atmosphere. Definitely my type of accomodation!

Great experience, helpful and sharing. As you, view is outstanding, back from the wall is a great uphill. Much more bnb than hostel.

Ivan was a terrific host that went out of his way to make our lives easier and our time in Dubrovnik more enjoyable. From providing maps, bus schedules, city recommendations, etc. to going to the port and buying ferry tickets for us, he provided exceptional hospitality and went above and beyond being a good host. I would recommend staying at villa Ivan to anyone considering a visit to Dubrovnik. In addition to great care, the rooms are great with a beautiful view from the terrace.

We had an excellent stay. The location as mentioned is at the top of a lot of stairs, but the view was amazing and Ivan and family were incredibly helpful with everything. Ivan provided recommendations and an overview of transport and restaurants, he also arranged a day tour to Mostar in Bosnia that I cannot recommend enough. On our final day, we had a late flight and Ivan stored our luggage for us and drove us to the bus station. Dubrovnik is beautiful!

Amazing place to stay! Would recommend to anyone visiting Dubrovnik. Our host picked us up from the bus station and answered every question we had before we even had a chance to ask! He also transferred us back to the bus station for a couple hundred kuna, and arranged for an excellent day trip to Mostar. Although from the main road you have to climb about 10 flights of stairs to reach the hostel, the view from our balcony was breathtaking!!!!
