If you can walk and climb stairs, Dubrovnik is for you and you are good for Villa Ivan. What can you flaw with getting up and stepping onto a balcony that gives you the view of the hills, the new harbor and the distant sea and islands? Priceless. Your feet, in my case, or buses, will take you to the Old Town. The breakfast was fine, a kitchen open and available, as is a computer & printer for the use of the guests. Ivan and his wife are caring and most pleasant hosts and I would stay here again.

Easily the best room we've had at any hostel - the view on the town from the hill is amazing, balcony is great. Ivan is a great host, met us at the bus station, AND took us back early in the morning. The place is very clean, quiet, and secure.

The staff are extremely friendly- Ivan put in lots of effort to make sure we had info about the town, transport, places to see and good value restaurants etc. You couldn't find a kinder couple in the whole of Dubrovnik! A pleasure to have stayed at Villa Ivan.
