If we come back to Dubrovnik, then it's going to be at Ivan's House! The view on the balcony is unforgettable, especially the sunset... We let him pick us up at the airport and even it was late, he already gave us a little sightseeing around the town by his car. He will give you all information you need, it was almost too much information at once^^. So if you can't afford Hilton Imperial Hotel yet, then go to Ivan;)If we come back to Dubrovnik, then it's going to be at Ivan's House! Villa Ivan was perfect. Both Ivan and his wife went out of their way to make sure that I had everything that I needed. It is an easy 20-25 minute walk to the old town, and bus number 3 drops you back at the villa. I would definately stay here again and recommend it to my family and friends.Villa Ivan was perfect. We had a great stay thanks. Location provides a great view of the port, but is a little remote but easily accessible by bus. Although it was located at the very top of the hills, the view from our private balcony was specataular! The room was great with a very large, comfortable bed. The bus system was a piece of cake, thanks to our host giving very thorough directions. Ivan, our host was so lovley and helpful. Ivan was really helpful and friendly couldnt do enough for you. Both Ivan and his wife are extremely warm, gracious and helpful hosts. The average location is more than compensated for by the spectacular views of the port and the Adriatic with perfect sunsets from the wonderfully cute balconies. Even though it is far from the Old City, the buses are regular and easy to navigate. We highly recommend staying here. Both Ivan and his wife are extremely warm, gracious and helpful hosts. Our hosts were most helpful, carrying our cases, always offering to do more. Ivan spoke good English, either he or his wife were always available if we required anything. Buses to the old city were less than 10 minutes walk away. The ferry port was about 15 minutes walk away, shops were in easy reach. We were met at the airport and taken to our lodgings for a good (20 Euro) price. Ivan is an effervescent host. Remember to tell him how many eggs you require in the morning!!!

Ivan and his wife made an excellent job to make our stay enjoyable. Although the place is a bit far from the Old Town (around 40 minutes to walk but good bus connection) the view was great! Perfect hosts that "sweetened" our stay with friendliness and some extras!
