I enjoyed my stay in this charming little farmhouse, with its menagerie of cats, dogs, cow, sheep and rooster. It was wonderful to have a getaway in a small village in the mountains, away from the hustle & bustle from city life. Quite a few nice hiking trails nearby, ask Joseph for directions. Highly recommended!

Joseph and his mother were very humble, inviting and warm hosts. They live in a most beautiful place, and to share in its splendour, if just for a few days, was a privilege.

This was the highlight of our visit to Romania! Joseph picked us up in Brasov and dropped us off in Bran, where we visited the castle and went for a hike in Piatru Craiulu. In the evening we were welcomed by Joseph and his family, and were able to purchase homemade wild cherry compote and enjoy some fresh milk from the farm. Villa Park itself is located in the most scenic spot I saw on my trip, and a simple walk down the country road proved one my favorite experiences of our trip.

The location of the hostel was amazing, View from there is breath taking. But getting there is hard, you really have to plan ahead. It is about 30 km away from brasov. When you go with car you have to be careful, and try to get there before dark at least when you go there for the first time. But its worth driving through those unsurfaced roads The rooms are cozy and nice, Bathrooms could be a bit better, but it was still really nice. Joseph is really helpful with everything.

Jozef is a wonderful man. His farm is located in a gorgeous place in the wild....

It was our best experience in our Rumania Trip!! Joseph and his family were so hospitable and kind with us. They helped us to arrive for the best way, and gave us tips and help all the time to enjoy the area and the house. The house is perfect and so nice. Clean. You have all the facilities to cook and enjoy your time there. If you want to disconnect and enjoy the montain you have to go there. There are more hostels in the area but it is the most authentic, disconnected and there you could
