If you like nature, beautiful views, mountains, peace and quiet, animals, hiking, relaxing or getting a genuine Romanian experience this is your place. It can be a bit tricky to get to Villa Park, but it is definitely worth it. Villa Park is more like a homestay and it is very cozy. Magura is only an hours hike from the famous Bran castle and there are lots of other hiking trails close by. Joseph, the owner is very generous and friendly. This place was one of the greatest experiences in Europe!

We ended up staying with Yosef for 3 nights. We had our own little room with a wood stove, it was warm and cozy and super restful. Yosef and his family are very welcoming, giving us great tips on where to hike, how to reach the mountains, and supplying us with fresh milk in the morning and lots of information about Romania. The villa is a wonderful starting point for hiking in the area. I highly recommend the Villa Park to anyone visiting Piatra Craiului!

Joseph is a wonderful host. This place is about as remote as you can get with a serene and beautiful view of the mountains. If you are looking for quiet and relaxation, this is the place to be. There are also a ton of opportunities for scenic hikes. It is pretty far from Brasov but Joseph will come and pick you up (for a fee) and it is worth it as he described the neighboring villages, the history and the mountains the whole way back. Cannot recommend this place enough.
