Gorgeous! If you're looking for an unforgettable experience right in the heart of the Carpathian Mountains, this is it! Can't wait to go back!

More of a home stay! We wanted a break from cities / towns

My stay at Villa Park was the absolute highlight of my trip to Romania. Joseph and his family, who runs the hostel are friendly and helpfull. their house is situated right on the most fantastic spot, on the top of a hill, with stunning views to both Bucegi and Piatra Craiului. The Villa is also a great starting point for both short and long hikes in the beautiful national park. I would recommend anybody who's going to Romania to kick back a couple of days at this wonderfull place.

The hostel is located on a mountain: stunning views, but pretty isolated. Joseph is a nice, talkative man, he picked us up from Brasov (80 lei one way) After an incredibly bumpy ride we arrived. Stunning scenery, but bring your own food: no breakfast included. The horse riding, para sailing and bear watching in the wild weren't possible. Note: if you don't have a car it will be impossible to go anywhere without (chatty) Joseph. The bathroom was shared with all the guests and Joseph's family.

A very charming place indeed.. It gives a very nice insight in true Romanian country life

The hostel is actually a farm located in a beautiful place. The glass of fresh milk you get in the morning is from their caws and you can ask to try their cheese too. Joseph is very friendly and drove us to sighisoara where he was going for his own business in change of a contribution in fuel. He even showed us few places on the way and had a very interesting talk along the way. Magura is the perfect place for relaxing in a wonderful and peaceful nature and enjoy hiking
