This stay was amazing. The owner, Joseph is really friendly, intelligent person who will immediately make you feel welcome. The view at his place is amazing, and if you want to get away from the city and connect with an easier, simple life and connect with nature, this is a nice place to relax. There are ots of activities nearby (like dracula's castle and other castles) that you can visit and won't take long. You get a lot of value for a little amountof money. Would recommand to everyone!
My partner and I stayed at Villa Park towards the end of March and loved everything about our stay. Breathtaking views - truly an isolated spot but being able to see how rural Romania is was so worth it. Joseph and his family were fantastic as hosts and Joseph drove us to the bear sanctuary and to Bran Castle for visits. Our room was comfy with fabulous views of the snowy mountains, and with a log burning stove we were certainly not cold. Highly recommended!

This hostel was the nicest place I've stayed in Europe so far. Expect beautiful mountain views, organised tours, and plenty of time to relax and take in the beautiful Transylvanian landscape. The place is within driving distance of key attractions like Bran Castle and Zarnesti Bear Sanctuary. The owner of the hostel is very knowledgable about Transylvania and Romania, and provides great insight to your travels. Definitely stay here!
