My partner and I stayed here for 2 nights and will definitely be coming back here. Although it is a bit of a mission to get there (its right up the mountain!) its so worth it in the end. Beautiful scenery, unbelievably peaceful and great for heading off into the mountains. Staff were so hospitable and helfpul - they really go out of their way. The milk fresh from the cow each morning was the icing on the cake.

The place is great but if you going there with rented car take in consideration 3 km of damaged and unpaved road on the way to the hostel. Consider to live the car and walk.

Not like any hostel you know. You have to prepare for this one but its worth it. The map on hostelworld is not the right location. Better look on hostelbookers. Don't go there in the dark or rain after a long trip. Better come in the morning from Brasov. There is no internet. Verry nice to experience farmlife. Hiking is perfect. Nice people. Relaxing environment. GO THERE!

The family that runs this is super friendly. The morning glass of fresh milk was amazing and brought me back to my youth when I grew up on a farm. The directions to the hostel on the website here are top notch. Follow them to the letter and you will not get lost. Hiking up from Moeciu is doable, but you will definitely sweat. Not recommended when it's dark as it gets VERY dark. The beds are insanely comfortable with a nice heavy duvet. It's quiet, peaceful, with so many great hikes around.

Most picturesque place I've ever been and stayed. Its tucked up in the hills, a little hard to find, but well worth the trek. Joseph and his family are lovely and hospitable. The fresh morning milk is delicious and you should definitely pay a little extra to buy their cheese.

The owner was very helpful and friendly. The only thing I would suggest would be to have a bit more clear directions for getting to the hostel. We almost turned back and didn't stay there until we found someone to show us the way. Other than that the place was great.

This was an amazing experience at this hostel. It was more like staying at a homestead, a real working farmhouse in the middle of the Transylvanian mountains. Absolutely incredible. Directions could have been better, and I think more people won't get discouraged if there were signs or something along the road that let you know that you were headed in the right direction. We almost turned around and gave up a few times but luckily we didn't. So glad we stayed in this hostel! Best one near Bran!

i thought that the hostel was wonderful plce to retreat from busy life/travel in the cities. I had a little trouble getting used to that kind of life beacuse i had to adapt hard way. the internet wasn't available there thought it appeared to have one on the website. would've been fine if it wasn't for sickness we all had around that time. because we counldn't prebook the hostel onwards, we had quite a hard time by the time we got back to bucharest late evening.

Great location in the mountains, a bit hard to reach. Either you walk one hour up or you have to schedule a taxi ride whereby just none might be available at that time. The house is beautifully rustic and a great starting point for hikes. You have to bring up all your food, understandably, but the hostel doesn't even provide fundamental basics for cooking. There is no real internet access either, but you can ask Joseph to look something up for you. Great place if you don't have any extra wishes.
