The hostel had no wifi, in the whole village, there was no wifi. otherwise it was clean and good for the buck
Caesar is very friendly, met us at our bus and directed us to the place and the trailhead for colca canyon. Was not frustrated that we did not speak spanish well and happily tried to communicate in English. Stayed there 3 nights, was quite and enjoyable. The breakfast was eggs, bread, and coffee/tea. Definitely recommend this place for a cheap night in cabanaconde.

Cesar and Madeleine are the best!! Get to talk to them and they treat you like family! The restaurant food here is really good too, and decently priced, so hang out on the balcony and eat. Rooms and bathrooms are nothing too special..but you will be out hiking the canyon anyways. This hostel also is right on the Plaza de Armas where the buses come and go so accessibility is great.
