This was definitely the perfect hostel for my stay in Nice. The staff was always helpful and provided more than enough information when needed. Although the location of this hostel isn't ideal there was a shuttle to take us down to the tram running every couple minutes. I would recommend this hostel to anyone who loves a great atmosphere and a beautiful view.

I had a great time at Villa St Exupery! It was my first hostel experience. The staff was super friendly and welcoming and above all, SO HELPFUL. The gave great advice for getting around in the area and places to go and see. Also really enjoyed the common areas and all the amenities the hostel provides. Rooms were clean, food was good, shuttle was efficient.

Firstly when we checked in the room key was not ready n we had to wait long for the reception as there were quite a ppls lining there even though it was already midnight. the room we chose was an ensuite double bed. we found the bed was not clean and the water leak out easily from washroom n flod the bedroom. We had to pay more change to another room the next day. The room condition was better than the first one but the problem of water leakage still remained. We found the the design of the show

The only thing that wasn't very goot was the internet service..not sure why, but it just wasn't consistent.

Very far from the center, on the top of a hill. The rooms are old and don't smell very good. The doors of the collective bathrooms are a little bit transparent, so other guests can see you while you take a shower, which is very unpleasant ... Reception opens only at 8 am, so you can have problems if you need to check out before that.

the staff at the gardens are awesome, a special thank you to the young brunette, European, who helped me to find my lost documents in room 103 on my last stay.

Awesome hostel for meeting people with a chill bar in the common room. No lockers in the rooms but there is a luggage storage room that is locked. I would highly recommend it for travellers!

Great hostel on the inside, huge and beautiful. One of the best I have ever been and a good definiton of what a hostel is. Things to improve: Bigger and more numerous lockers on rooms. Location is an issue, but they make every thing possible to make things easier.

Location is the only problem but between the awesome shuttle drivers and the frequent trams it's no big deal. The staff is hilarious and helpful (every hour of the day), very easy to meet people, very clean and big rooms (9 bed dorm was very spacious), gardens are beautiful and the bar/breakfast/kitchen are built into an old church. It rained 2 out of 7 days that we stayed and the staff found us rain day activities, but we wouldn't have minded just hanging in the common room. Highly recommend.

My favorite part, get drunk in the bar that used to be a church, ironic. The villa is awesome very beach bum feel to it. Clean but definitly a party hostel so expect a messy but hygienic room. Some rooms have lockers but not all. And everyone is so carefree that most doors are left open but there are locks on the doors when the guests actually close them. Distance from the beach is worth it. Free shuttle and 1€ tram gets you there in 15mins. FULLY equipped kitchen. More but no room. RECOMMEND.

The staff here are really exceptional - they try really hard to make sure that you have a great stay and are super helpful! Gardens is a pretty good hostel, although it's quite out of the way from town which can be annoying if you want to go out at night (trams stop at 1:30, shuttle stops at midnight, and it's a huge hill to walk up without the shuttle!) It's also a HUGE hostel, the biggest I've ever stayed in, which means it's easy to get lost in.

Great place, a little loud, but it's definitely the place to stay for the social atmosphere. Loved my stay! :D

the atmosphere is nice for a big hostel. nice plan to have the common area/internet separated physically from all the sleeping areas. the garden is also very nice. it is understaffed, and the time it takes to check in and out is a real problem the other bummer is that the sheets were very thin, they need to be replaced. yes, it is out of town, but the streetcar in Nice is great, and you are about a 10 min walk from the streetcar stop. overall a good place to stay.

I spent 4 days there and mostly returned at night after returning from Cannes, St Trope, Monaco etc. So can't say much about the day and the atmosphere but at night i quite liked the Bar within the hostel and yes of course the breakfast was awesome. And yes, the pick up and drop service from and to the tram station was really appreciable. Overall i liked it very much and is planning a return trip soon.

This is a very good hostel running by the youth and very suitable for people who rent a car in nice and live, since it is really near the highway. and 15 minutes drive to the nice center.
