Property Description

Villa Sandra Guesthouse is a backpackers place in Malapascua. It is run by Jonjon and his friendly staff. It has a few chill out and hammock areas. This makes it the perfect place to meet travellers from around the world. There is WIFI, complimentary drinking water, cooking facilities and a fridge. It has been awarded five stars by Trip Advisor from happy backpackers reviews.

Villa Sandra has a treehouse with a spectacular view of the sea and a private bathroom. Theres a private cottage with private CR. A beautiful Indian house, two private rooms and two dorms for 6 people. There are four shared bathrooms. There is a bathroom that has been made out of recycled plastic bottles. At Villa Sandra JonJon likes to recycle as much things as possible to keep the beaches clean. The Villa has been decorated with paintings by many creative travellers from all over the world. We offer free accommodation and food for a night if you share your love and paint on the wall.

There is an eco friendly vegan and vegetarian restaurant that's just opened. Come and try the delicious organic affordable food. Most of the resources used to build the restaurant have been recycled. There is also a vegetable patch for fresh fruit and vegetables, don’t panic its organic :)

We invite backpackers to join us to feed the children in the North and play games with them on a Saturday. Afterwards we show you to the top of the light house where we watch the sunset (If it's not cloudy). We cook a family dinner once a week for the guests that like to join. Its a great way to meet other backpackers and enjoy some delicious food.

There are many things to experience on the island; diving, boat trips, snorkelling, cliff jumps, beautiful beaches, basketball, filipino food, fiesta and the local disco.

Villa Sandra is almost in the centre of The Village and is close to local shops and bakery. it’s two minutes away from the port (where you will arrive). It’s a five minute walk to Bounty Beach, where most of of the island’s dive shops are. The locals in Malapascua are friendly and like to talk to travellers. They may even ask you to join them for a drink or food.

" If you've ever watched the kids show "The Tribe", this is it in real life. This is hostel living. Owner JonJon is super cool and lovely.Very knowledgeable and willing to help in anyway. The downside of this place is the facilities. The rooms felt like prisons because everything was dark and small. The rooms were too hot and I woke up bitten from mosquitos every morning. The place wasn't clean. Bathroom was undesirable too. Food was amazing though and staff were lovely. Would go there for dinner "
