Really loved it here. Booked 1 night, stayed 4! The rooms are amazing! Really clean and nicely decorated. The staff are really friendly and will help book tours and onward travel at a good price. Not far from good bars and restaurants (utopia is recommended), about 10 minute walk to the main market. If we visited Luang Prabang again we would definitly stay here! Highly recommended!

Deluxe double (Rm #2): Room was dark and bathroom even darker with an ant colony living behind the tiles. These were my only gripes though as the room boasted a hot rainforest shower, TV, aircon, comfy bed and a fridge that was filled with bottled water during the daily room clean. The family who run the GH were always available to help us find the sights and even offer to introduce us to a traditional cup of Laotian coffee to go with the complementary bananas. 10-minute walk to the city centre.

Loved this place! Keo (I think that's how it's spelt!) was really friendly and very helpful, the room was massive and cleaned daily.. Right in town but just away from the bars so a perfect little oasis!

Great management, couldn't do enough for us. We recommend hiring a bike on your first day and exploring to get your bearings. Free drinking water, coffe/tea and bananas all day is a nice touch. Good wifi too. Recommended if you want a relaxed stay minutes from the apparently busy bars. Def visit again.

Villa thony house was a great place to stay for many reasons. It wasnt too close to the tourist centre so i wasn't bombarded with sellers as soon as i stepped out the door, you can take a 30 sec walk to the river and not be harassed and the room i stayed in was lovely. The best thing though was the staff. Super friendly and genuine, they looked after me even after i checked out.

We originally were going to stay only 3 nights, but we loved the place so much we stayed for 3 more. The staff is sweet, very helpful, and even invited us to share dinner with them 2 separate times. The location is extremely convenient and close to everything, and there\'s a place right across the street where a cheap and large breakfast is served. We highly recommend this wonderful guesthouse which is a very good value for money.

By far the best place we have stayed in our trip so far. We stayed in the double delux en suite and bottled water was topped up in our fridge daily also bed was made every day and fresh towels left. Free bananas and coffee. The staff were all polite and helpful. 2 English movie chanels, short walk to bars and restaurants. This place is lovely, would stay here again and recommend it.

Pretty nice place although the bathroom wasn't very clean and the showers were cold. Staff were very friendly though. Could probably do a bit better in town for about the same price ($20).

We arrived to the hostel and it was terrible. It was very hard to find and it was far from the old quarter, you can find things nearer and much better for the same money. The room was really dirty, the bathroom had almost no light and was dirty. It was so bad that we decided to go out and look for something better. We found thousands of places better than this one, we had to pay a night and left for a better hostel. The staff was kind since they let us cancel our reservation.

The rooms were a good size, and the manager was friendly, but that's about it for positive comments. There are so many choices in Luang Probang that staying here is only advisable for a single night. The area is okay, but again, this town has so many options that why choose a very average guesthouse?

Wonderful guesthouse in a quiet area. Close to the center and very comfortable. Bathrooms are large and modernized with luxurious stone tiling. Staff is incredible.

Big rooms and helpful staff. Wifi didn't work in all the rooms

A nice family-run hostel located just outside the main action (about 10 min walk to the city centre). We had a nice big room, however, the shower was just luke warm. The family were really lovely and offered us free tea/coffee and bananas. Just beware that despite it being called "Villa Merry" on Hostelworld, it is actually called Villa Guesthouse".....caused us much confusion trying to get a taxi there as he took us to Villa Guesthouse and we were like, "No, this isn't it" and turns out it was!
