Boris was very friendly and helped us out when we needed help (with directions, laundry, etc.) Villa Zora was just beautiful and his dog was so cute and friendly and followed us around. Our rooms were clean. It was a nice place to relax before and after our hike in plitvice

A bit far to walk to the lakes, there are many others which are closer to the lake entrance which looked a lot cleaner. The has smelt of dogs (there is a barking dog to welcome you!) and also of cigarette smoke. Room was full of flies/spiders and things were grubby and old. Not a very nice stay and worse place we stayed in whilst in Croatia.

A quirky family home, not the neatest or best presented in the area, but the room and bathroom was comfortable and clean. Balcony from all 3 double rooms. Might not be for you if you don't like smoking in the home - but our room smelt ok. Really good location to walk to Plitvice National Park from (about 20-30 minute walk depending on your pace!) and a helpful host... who is currently building a guest kitchen and eating area with his own bare hands... watch this space!

An excellent guesthouse run by a lovely family. Quite a distance from the lakes if you are walking, but it is still in a great location. The little restraunt up the road serves great simple food, for very decent prices. The room itself was basic, but very nice, having the best bed we have slept in while in Europe. Bathroom was also quite good, although the ensuit was in a seperate room to the bedroom (not a problem for us). Very happy, good value for money!

The couple were lovely and really mad you feel at home! The house was beautiful and had so much character, the surroundings were breathtaking, it really was a dream waking up there every morning. Only downfall is apart from the national park there was little to do and no where to eat out apart from the ski resort resurant (open all year). I would definitely recommend staying at Villa Zora for a visit to Plitvice!
