We had a very good stay at Villa delle Ortensie. The hosts are very nice and eager to help, which in my opinion sets this B&B apart from others I have stayed at. The house is very conveniently located, close to the subway station. The room we stayed in was very quiet, looking away from the main road. Note that you need to take 2 flights of stairs to get to the rooms, which might be a problem for people with reduced mobility or very heavy luggage.

We had a very nice stay at Villa delle Ortensie. Our host was very nice, everything was clean and everybody did what they could to make our stay as comfortable as possible. You can reach the city centre very easily, having a metro station and a rent bike station a 100 m away. I can totally recommend Villa delle Ortensie.

Anouar is very helpful for for local information! The B & B is clean and warm, make me feel like home. The location is also very convenient, just right next to a underground station, which is only 5 stops away from Midi station. I would like to stay at Villa delle Ortensie again if I want to visit Brussels in the future.

Really enjoyed our stay here (USA, m&f, 20s). V safe & accommodating. They even let us store our luggage the entirety of the day we were supposed to leave. The couple is Moroccan male & Italian female, translator & doctor (v convenient!). The bedroom was a double bed, raised like a top bunk w/ a desk area under it. Neat view from the balcony outside the window (good for smokers, though we aren't). All was well till we got home and they accused us of stealing. Paranoid people, but still nice.

Sabina was very friendly and helpful. She made us tea and gave us cake when we arrived and offered us maps and told us what was in the area and how to get into the centre. The house was very clean and the room was cosy. The metro station is very close so getting to the centre is very easy and fast, and cheap with a 10 journey pass. Breakfast in the morning was toast, tea and orange juice. The house is ideal for young people staying in the city.
