Please expect an additional $5-$6 per bed per night and $10-$15 per private room per night, payable upon arrival, for local and state taxes.
BEDS/ROOM ASSIGNMENT: Beds and rooms are allocated on the arrival day. All beds available or confirmed are not necessary in the same room. There is no guarantee a group of 2 or more people will be in the same room, or no guarantee a booking will have the same bed/same room all nights. Same way is not possible to guarantee a top/low bed, or a top/low floor.
In the heart of the East Village, the Village Inn gives backpackers the opportunity to experience the hippest part of Manhattan. Home of the world famous St. Mark’s Place and Astor Place, the East Village is made up of many restaurants and bars, such as Yaffa Caffe and McSorley’s Old Ale House (literately next door to us!). The East Village still boils with the vibe created by the hippies, musicians and artists who first arrived here in the 1960s. In the streets, a mixed crowd walks alongside with students from the New York University, which has many of its college housing located here.
The Village Inn is a totally renovated 4 walk-up story(no elevator) building that can accommodate travelers looking for the fun and history of the neighborhood. The dormitory rooms can sleep 6 to 12 people, and they all have private facilities. Private rooms are also available for those who demand a little more privacy. Next to our fully equipped kitchen, a flat screen TV entertains our guests in a large common area. Here, guests wake up to our well known “two thumbs up” free continental breakfast, an assortment of bagels, muffins, fruits, cereal, coffee, milk and orange juice.

Payment of balance is required in full upon check-in.

KEY DEPOSIT : A deposit of us$ 10 (cash only) per person is required at check-in, that is refunded after returning the keys upon check-out (before 12noon).
CANCELLATION AND NO-SHOW POLICY: Cancellations or changes are accepted only with mimimum 24 hours before the arrival date. Same day cancellations or same day changes will result in 1 night charge per person. In case of NO-SHOW, there will be also a charge of 1 night per person onto your credit card regardless the reason. We are not responsible for weather conditions, illness, flight delays or flight cancellations. The 10% deposit you pay on this website is per night accommodation. If you cancel any of the nigths, the deposit for that night will be lost.
