Great hostel! We loved our stay there so much, we even decided to extend it. Steve is very nice and helpful, he drove us to town every day. We spent a lot of time on the beautiful terrace and in the pool. Definetly would recomend it! ("roll, baby, roll" :)

We've just spent a few days at this place. The rooms and the kitchen are very clean and they also have a nice terrace to hang out. It's just a short walk from the city centre, so its a silent place. Also the owner Steve is a cool guy that can help u with everything.

Cool hostel but SUPER far away from everything. If you don't have a car it's kinda a mission to do anything (about 20 min walk on dirt road). Hang out area was super cool. Really basic room. Shared computer was a nice surprise! Soooo much chlorine in the little pool, changed my bathing suit color!!! Owner was nice but kinda a scatter brain. Overall pretty good hostel but far from town.

They had trouble finding our reservation and put us in different rooms, which was fine. It just felt like we were an inconvenience to them. There is no AC just fans but it was still sweltering. The hostel is a 15 minute walk to the city or a cheap taxi ride and they offer a free ride into town in the morning. Overall it's a good hostel and they will help book any tour for you or answer any questions.

Loved this place! Staff were pleasant and went out of their way to be helpful. Enjoyed the extras like an optional delicious breakfast and yoga lessons. They have a great gathering room overlooking the forest that was a great place to gather with new friends in the evening. Lots of value for the money!

It's not easy to evaluate the hostel as we had an upgrade (paid for a double bed without bathroom but get a triple room with bathroom). It's not in the center of Quepos but it's easy to go there by foot anyway. The welcome and the staff are excellent, as well as the atmosphere. Definitely a good place to stay !!!

A purpose built upper class hostel, amazingly designed with well appointed rooms, cleverly designed showers, 3 high terraces with wonderful views across farmland to distant hills, well placed hammocks and spotless throughout. Pool is a decent size and depth, perfect for a good swim and warm at even 6am. Many helpful extras are provided, such as washing lines and plenty of pegs. The bathroom sinks even have plugs!!! The only ones we met in Costa Rica. 7 am yoga sessions are much enjoyed by those who join in. Tours booked here were great. A taxi to take us to the bus station on leaving was laid on too. Perhaps not ideal for those who want to be in the centre of town but perfect for us. Only serious mistake was our booking for only 2 nights. Should have stayed longer. Wonderful spot and very reasonably priced.

Villas Jacquelina exceeded our expectations! Had a beautiful view, a manageable (10-15 min) walk to town, clean facilities, a nice and cheap ($5) breakfast on the terrace, and a well-stocked kitchen that we could use. The owner, Steven, was very accommodating when we requested to change rooms, and he provided us a ride into town to catch our bus. We enjoyed the opportunities to chat with Steven and other travelers or finding a quiet spot to enjoy the views on our own. Would definitely return!

Steve, the owner, was GREAT! He was friendly, knowledgeable about the area (restaurants, activities) and gave us a ride into town on more than one occasion. Breakfast was really good - the fruit especially. The hostel is a few minutes outside of Quepos but you can easily walk into town. Its about a 10 minute walk to the bus station where they have shuttles every few minutes to Manuel Antonio where you'll find the beach and the park. It was nice being outside of town. Beautiful location!

I could not be any happier than what I'm. A great place to stay, probably the best hostel I have been. Keep up the the good work Steven. Edgar.

Steve and his family were incredibly accommodating. It was a beautiful stay, and very comfortable. Yada made the most incredible breakfast (which you can get for free if you book a tour through the hostel). If you go, definitely treat yourself to a pipa--the coconut water there was the best I had. Quepos is full of generous and genuine people. Thank you!
