The cabins are clean and the air conditioning is nice. Bathrooms are clean with hot water for showers. Breakfast is a plate of fruit and either rice or eggs. Our cabin was about 100 meters off the main road, so it was nice a quiet. We were about 500 meters away from the city center, about a 10 minute walk. The pool was nice and clean, refreshing in the middle of the hot day.

I was pretty disappointed by this place; while the view of the volcano was undoubtedly brilliant the accommodation seemed poorly maintained. The 'outdoor jacuzzi' was not working-I think it's probably been out of action for a while. The toilet in our villa also broke on our last night - it would not flush and wasn't successfully fixed when we asked; and we had to ram the windows shut as they were jammed open- didn't feel very secure. However, it's a short walk from town and has good aircon &TV.

A nice cabin with great views of Volcan Arenal! Pretty quiet, which was nice, but if you're looking to meet people it's maybe not for you, sure it gets busier in peak season with more backpackers though. Pool was lovely and warm even in the rain ;) Great spot to go tour the area. Location is good, though if you want the shops on your doorstep stay a bit further down the hill, it doesn't take long to get into town but it is set just up the road -10 mins. The views and hummingbirds are worth it!
