Vilnius Old Town Hostel Reviews

The Old Town Hostel is renovated right now, so they book you on to the Old Town Hostel, but they place you in the Fortuna Hostel. Well.. that's an hostel, and with that most things are said. I left after one night because I didn't like Vilnius.

Old Town Hostel was closed and I got moved to the Fortuna Hostel which was their sister property. It should be called the Mis-Fortuna, because it is not that great. It had all the charm and personality of a mortuary. After two nights, I moved to HostelGate which was super fantastic.

It's maybe one of the best hostel regarding relation cheap/good place, is very close to the station and easy to reach. The place is nice, and with a good enviroment. The only bad thing is that the wall are very thin and you can hear everyone. But it's a hostel and you have usually have to deal with it anyway. For the rest the infrastucture is good and confortable, and the staff nice.

APPROX FIVE MINUTES TO BUS STATION, NICE AND CLEAN AND GOOD NIGHT'S SLEEP ASSURED. ROOMY DORMITORIES WHICH HAVE BEEN RECENTLY UPGRADED. MAY BE A LITTLE DIFFICULT TO LOCATE. WOULD RECOMMEND.

Come on guys and especially girls! Smile a bit more! It got most people depressed...lol! OK place!

All was very good except the bathroom which had a very musty smell.

- Sheets that are smaller than the bed size. - Rooms are not very clean. - Pillows and quilts were dirty. - Ugly room decoration.

boring hostel, staff didnt even say hello when we arrived, shared bathroom is a joke

This is a plain Youth Hostel. Use it to spend one or two nights. All facilities are somewhat worn out. Still you will get everything you need.

There was an unpleasant odour in the room - would suggest upgrading the bedding. Otherwise fine.
