Private room - Spacious area, air-conditioned and I love the kitchenette (with kettle). The bathroom is quite alright but it is musty from the trapped moisture. I suggest to create an opening/window to let the air flow. As the room is quite far from others and close to the street, an inside lock is advisable. The staffs are helpful with my cab booking. Close to the old town area. They could improve the surrounding area, paint it and enhance the character.

Had the 4 bed private. Check in was messy walking back and forth between the hostel we booked, and the one we checked in at (Fortuna). Could never really be sure when the reception at Old Town Hostel was open, must have made that journey six seven times. Internet did not work. Room hardly cleaned, discarded beer cans in the kitchen, floor hadn't been vacuumed in a long while. The rooms were cold and damp, even though it was 25 degrees outside. All just a bit so-so.

Don’t book ‘Old Town Hostel’ as it’s currently closed for renovation; your reservation will be accepted but at your arrival a closed door sign leads you to hostel Fortuna, a minute or so further up where a warm bed awaits you. So this review counts for hostel Fortuna. Nothing wrong so far, but Fortuna welcomes also larger groups and party-goers and that could be a problem if you are looking for a well-deserved sleep after a day’s sightseeing. I’m pretty tolerant, but this experience was truly ba

The Old Town Hostel is renovated right now, so they book you on to the Old Town Hostel, but they place you in the Fortuna Hostel. Well.. that's an hostel, and with that most things are said. I left after one night because I didn't like Vilnius.

Old Town Hostel was closed and I got moved to the Fortuna Hostel which was their sister property. It should be called the Mis-Fortuna, because it is not that great. It had all the charm and personality of a mortuary. After two nights, I moved to HostelGate which was super fantastic.

In fact we were staying in Fortune Hostel, because Old Town Hostel was under construction. Fortune Hostel is really worth recommending, very good localization and price is also very good.
