First of all the owner was insanely helpful and highly committed to improving in any way possible. I'm not sure he sleeps, actually. So that was just generally inspiring to be around. Got us onto a next day Varanasi bound train SOMEHOW and was constantly updating us about it. Very cool. Room was big and very comfortable bed for gf and I. Roof restaurant had really good food, but took a suuuuper long time each visit for us. They're renovating up there; it should be cool. Recommend.

Great location - away from the hustle bustle of central Jaipur but not so far from the centre that you feel like you're completely out of it. Very friendly and helpful staff, comfortable rooms and delicious food on rooftop. Definitely recommended!

First of all thanks to hostel world for providing us with all the necessary information for searching accommodation. No words to explain our happiness for staying in Vinayak Guest House. True value for money. Owner and staff are extremely good and helpful. Roof top restaurant was superb. Mr Raman provided us with all the required information. Arranged for Auto for sightseeing (Mhod Ayub Khan) who turned out to be the best guide as well.

Hotelier was the nicest we met in India, service was excellent, food very good and well priced, lovely rooftop to eat on. Room was clean, WiFi decent and hot water available We mistakenly thought we could walk to the old city gate from here, but you definitely need to catch rickshaws to get around, although the train station is very close. We got free pickup from the train station too, which was greatly appreciated. If you don't mind being slightly out of the centre then this is an ideal hotel.

The guesthouse is about 600 meters from the railway station. It is located in a nice street and cleaner than the streets around. The staff were helpful. The restaurant on the rooftop was okay.

The roof at Vinayak was awesome. Food was reasonably priced and pretty good. Raman is a fantastic host - we were there for Holi and he had a bunch of colors on the roof to get our celebration started. Location is outside of the Pink City and a bit far to walk, we ended up taking rickshaws most of the time, but close to the train station if you're arriving that way. We enjoyed our stay here.

The owners were really nice and helpful, always asking if we need something and if everything was ok. The roof top restaurant is beautiful and the service and food are good! The room was awesome, confortable, and with hot water .Is located near the bus stops and train station, and where almost all the guest houses are, and this is almost a kilometre from the main bazaar area and the pink city center monuments. Anyway the quality/price rate is really good. I absolutely recomend this place!

I had an amazing stay at this guest house. The staff is really nice and helpful. The dorms are nice and big with plenty of space to move about. Heads up (if an individual named Imram approaches you at the Jaipur Station or anywhere in Jaipur, don't not take his services). Better yet, do not agree to go with any of these drivers outside of the city of Jaipur. Other than that, this is an amazing place to stay.

The owners are ok and the free pickup from the train station is very nice.

It was my first guesthouse in India and after two weeks I can say it was my favourite one. Definitely a great option in Jaipur, and the best staff!!!

Stayed three nights in the dormitory at Vinayak Guest House. The staffs were friendly and helped me with booking bus tickets to Agra. However, this feels more like a bed and breakfast place than a hostel. There is a rooftop terrance where you can meet other travellers. But most people seem to be vacationers and not backpackers.

We started in the dorm room which was extremely comfortable and a hot shower. When we asked to stay longer we were kindly upgraded for no extra price to a lovely private room. Also used the rooftop restaurant a lot. Good atmosphere and home cooked food. Definitely recommend this hotel

It was an amazing experience. I had booked a room but somehow it was canceled. It worked out for the best since there was a spot in the Wifi Lounge that I shared with four other travelers. The room was really cool with hand written comments left by travelers on the walls. You have to stay here when you're in Jaipur. No question about it.

Nice hotel and close (walking distance) to the train station. Good resturant and friendly staff. It's quite a popular place so I would make a reservation.
