Loved our stay here! Few issues when we arrived as we thought we had booked air con but it was infact 'air cooled', but they let us have an a/c room for a little extra. The confusion was due to hostelworld website rather than the guesthouse's fault! The owner and his son quickly resolved the problem and they have been the most friendly, welcoming hosts so far in India! Our room was lovely, and clean! The food was delicious and all staff were lovely. Only negative: Locks in rooms aren't great

We stayed in a double room AC with private ensuite. The rooftop restaurant has great food at a reasonable price. The family who runs this guesthouse are super friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and AC always worked. Highly recommend this guesthouse, it's the best place we've stayed at in India. Also 5 minute walk to the bus stop which takes you straight to Amber Fort and the old city.

I had a pretty bad time in Jaipur, but the guest house made it bearable. The owner even bargained with a taxi and guide for me. The food is good too. I could have stayed longer. It was homey and safe.

We had a great stay during our visit to Jaipur - friendly and helpful staff! Great roof top area for breakfast in the morning and a beer in the evening! I would recommend! :-)

Best guesthouse I've stayed in in India, friendly staff, good food and a nice room all for a good price. The staff are very helpful and the roof top is a great place to spend the evening. I'd recommend it for anyone visiting Jaipur.

I got the cheapest they had on their menu: a basic single room for 250 Rs a night. And got so much more in return! The house is a family-run business, vibrant atmosphere, very friendly staff at the reception and in the restaurant on the roof, and an excellent wifi signal:-) It's close to Jaipur junction and some 10 minutes away by rickshaw/taxi from the Pink City part of town. Jaipur was a bit aggressive for my taste, and the guest-house provided that safe haven I needed at the end of the day.

The location of the guest house for me was perfect as it is close to the railway station by walking or tuk tuk. It is situated in a peaceful location unlike the touristic places at MI road. I enjoyed my stay and the food was lovely especially the Aloo parathas at the roof top restaurant. The staff is friendly, overall it was a great experience.

The pro's are the honest/helpful staff and location. Near to the station and the family owners are keen for you to enjoy your stay. The rooms and showers are clean and you have the added benefit of a roof top restaurant. Fairly limited menu but then again it is a guesthouse. The beers and snacks were most welcome.Only real con was the poor wifi though the owners son explained this was mainly due to the broadband supply which was usually better.Outside laundry service was good.Thumbs up!

Admittedly, I was uncertain how my stay would be when I arrived at Vinayak. I'm glad I stayed! The family that owns the guesthouse takes you in as their family. Decent menu and good food. Close to train station, and easy to get a rickshaw anywhere else. I stayed in a very basic room but it was all I needed, and the bed was fantastic.

I loved it here! Sunil and his family are so welcoming and Sunil's wife makes the best indian food I've had to date in India and I've been travelling for over a month now. The location is amazing on a few minutes walk from the fort located in the heart of the blue city. If I were to go back to Jodhpur I would stay there again. No doubt!

I've traveled to 24 countries, staying in hostels all along the way, and this was one of the best in the world, and certainly the best so far in India. It's family-owned; we stayed in Jaipur for 8 days and by the end, we felt like family. HOT showers, good free wifi, amazing food on the rooftop, and always quiet at night. STAY HERE! :)

Overall a good place to stay in Jaipur. Great value for money with clean rooms and friendly staff. The drain in the bathroom didn't smell that great but typical for India. Roof restaurant was sociable and the food was decent. One problem was we asked to have a tuk tuk booked to take us to the station at 5 am but nobody showed up meaning we had to walk!

Of all the hostels I stayed at during my stay in India, Vinayak Guesthouse was my favorite. The staff was incredible: nice, informative, welcoming. When we showed up a day early at midnite due to an error on my part, we were welcomed with a smile and accommodations, even though all the double rooms were already booked. The rooftop restaurant was also so comfy and food was great. The wifi was also in tip-top shape, working fast and always on. I can't say enough great things about this place!
