We started in the dorm room which was extremely comfortable and a hot shower. When we asked to stay longer we were kindly upgraded for no extra price to a lovely private room. Also used the rooftop restaurant a lot. Good atmosphere and home cooked food. Definitely recommend this hotel

It was an amazing experience. I had booked a room but somehow it was canceled. It worked out for the best since there was a spot in the Wifi Lounge that I shared with four other travelers. The room was really cool with hand written comments left by travelers on the walls. You have to stay here when you're in Jaipur. No question about it.

Nice hotel and close (walking distance) to the train station. Good resturant and friendly staff. It's quite a popular place so I would make a reservation.

Very nice clean family run guesthouse, with particulary nice roof garden area, with good food, little hard to find for us arriving by car but very handy to train station on departure. Manager very helpful with arranging flights at a later date infact forfeited a family gathering to ensure arrangements were completed. Nothing was a problem here , would definitely recommend and stay here again in the future

This hostel was adequate for seeing the city and getting around. The rooftop is good to meet people and the food served is nice and tasty. The staff however don't seem to be overly helpful. The food takes ages and the waiters seem to be too young to be able to give proper service. Also, if the hostel arranges a rickshaw for you remember to check the cost of this with the driver directly as the rickshaw drivers they arrange are in no way affiliated with the hostel and will still rip you off.

Our stay at the guesthouse was wonderful, the owner and his family made sure we were always comfortable and it felt more like home than any other hotel/hostel in India with a great rooftop restaurant and recommendations to see in Jaipur. Ps: thanks for the Chai recipe ;)

This hotel is located on a quiet street and has clean rooms. We appreciated that there was hot water because it was very cold when we were there in December. The restaurant is okay. Wifi works sometimes and sometimes not. The owner is very nice and his efforts to help raises the grade. He fixed a heater for the room and made breakfast for us to take along the next day, for an early morning train.

Absolutely fantastic place to be in when in Jaipur. The place is run by Raman and his family who were really dedicated in making us feel comfortable. Our group of three fit very comfortably in a room for four and the room was well fitted for the cold winter with adequate blankets and even a silk quilt. The room and the establishment was tastefully decorated with Rajasthani items. The rooftop restaurant was simple but catered delicious food for very reasonable prices.

Vinayak Guesthouse was more than I could ever wish for in the busy city of lovely Jaipur. Once I booked with them, they had arranged for me a driver to pick me up right from the train station! As soon as I reached the place, I was stunned how awesome this place looked and how clean and classy it was compared to many other places i've booked with in India. Right from the get go I was welcomed by Raman, a great and friendly manager who's knowledge helped me get around Jaipur. Vinayak is the BEST!

Nice hostel with a nice roof terrace. Good value for money. The staff is a bit slow, eg u go to the restaurant and will wait 30min with nobody coming to serve you. The owner is really nice and he will help you with whatever you need. No toilet paper in the toilets, sure they could improve that :)

Raman is the best!!! Really helpful and kind. The rooftop restaurant is lovely, we had an amazing paneer butter masala. Would definitely recommend staying here. The staff are so wonderful!

The rooms are great and clean. Big lockers make for easy safe storage. Our only problems were with the restaurant staff. We had to walk up to them at breakfast to order while they played on their phones. Also our food would come out cold and after an hour and a half. Then they'd say that they warned us, when they didn't. Wasn't a big deal really, but they should have just appologised, not lied to make us feel like idiots. Rooms are good, restaurant needs to learn some things...

Unfortunately we can't confirm the other good ratings. As we arrived there we wanted to sray one night longer. Therefore we needed to pack our staff what's total ok but as we arrived in the evening to get our new room they told us that they don't have the room anymore and that we could sleep in the dorm or in the wifi-lounge,which is actually no room...We didn't felt treated with lot hospitality...

Very good hostel, highly recommended. Contacted me after booking for a train station pickup which was useful as we arrived after 9pm. Good quiet location, only a few minutes walk from railway station. Large, clean room, hot water and good WiFi. Laundry service and book swap. Rooftop veg restaurant also good.
