There were hundreds of ants in our room, crawling all over the beds. The shower head was broken. When we checked out they added extra money onto our bill and when we questioned it they grudgingly changed it. Then when we paid they wouldn't accept a 500,000 note because it had a small rip in it. We had only just withdrawn it from the ATM to pay. Yet our change was the most haggard looking set of notes!

Nice hotel and a really great and funny staff. Dont book their tour to My Son though - the worst value tour we've been on

we found the ensuite fairly poor, when we showered the bath tub didn't effectively drain and would fill up with dirty water. The sheets weren't clean and we weren't given towels. We had previously stayed in another local hostel for the same price that had excellent rooms. The staff were lovely but it didn't make up for the room.

Short walk from old town and river. Stayed in a twin which was spacious and clean! Owner very lovely, a little pushy about booking things with her but no problems! Computers in reception actually worked at a reasonable speed which was a treat!

It`s an ok hostel for a night, but for a longer stay I would recommend a better hotel, it worth to spend a few more bucks on it. Because this place has some issues: the telephone is broken, the bathroom lock is broken, the aircon is broken, got only 1 towel, everything is worn off (shower, locks, etc.) And overall: the rooms are very dirty! There is no better way to put it,The walls are dirty, the shower is dirty, behind the beds are a lot of rubbish piled up and so on.

ATTENTION LATE ARRV -I booked the room through this website and could not stay since my bus was not on time that day. However, next day I checked for a room by myself calling them. I surely informed them that I would arrive in Hoi An at 11-12 in the night and they told me there would be no problem, so I did my journey to the city. When I arrived at 0hs the door was closed and the man in the reception did not let me in or even listen to me, so I had to get a taxi and look for a room at that time.

so we've been there two nights and in general it was a pleasant and interesting time, but our shower OMG... was so disgusting, but you"ll never know what you get when travelling on a low budget ( 7 $/night --> but you have to book in advance!!!) ! the staff was fun and helpful but the location was soso, it's like a 5-10 min walk away from the old town of hoi an, but it's close to the place the busses arrive!

The room was dirty and the sheets were disgusting as were the towels. The staff were not helpful and just tried to sell their own tours. Even when booking our bus they sent us to the office. Location is good not hard to walk anywhere.

Very helpful staff, the room was cheap but not too clean (bathroom a but greasy but still ok). The breakfast (not included) was great. We got a Tour to My Son organized by the staff. However: you'd better do that on a rent motorcycle early in the morning on your own. In total a hotel worth the price we paid.

Hoi An has plenty of nicer hotels in the same price range, including some on the old town. The sheets were so itchy I didn't want to touch them; the 'white' towels were grey; when I was checking out they tried to charge me for two drinks from the minibar, which I hadn't touched.

We stayed here during tet festival at it was a very busy time. The staff was not so nice and overcharged us on train tickets. (They put a sticker over the pricetag so we wouldn't see it) Also we rented bikes and in the morning we found out that the owners used it themselfs in the morning. So DO lock your bikes!!! The place of the hotel is very good. Close to the city center and beach.

The receptionist was absolutely lovely! So much fun and very helpful. Rooms where basic but clean and good for the price. Don't go there for the pool though, it's inside and in the quite area of the hostel. Has pretty good wifi and computers available. Close to all the different shops. Would recommend staying here!

not as good as other places in hoi an from what we heard... a bit strange that the whole place closes down by 10.30/11pm. you can still get in and out but its a bit awkward. very convenient location though, in the old city and close to everything you'll need.

Only spent one night there. Expensive for what you get. Check out allready at 11am. There are better hostels closer to the center
