Vinh Huy Hotel Reviews

There is no wireless during my stay. TV is borken. No shampoo, soap and tissue in the bath room. Also, no room cleaning service. (But I don't think it's necessary, because the room is no clean itself) The staff is friendly, but cannot provide any help.

This place was so disgusting- mould on all the walls and buckets screwed to the ceilings to catch dripping water which was coming from.....? I stepped inside the room and literally did not want to touch anything- the walls the furniture. You'd need a hepatitis shot to go in the bathroom. And they try to charge higher than average!! ridiculous- DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY YOU'RE BETTER OFF SLEEPING ON THE STREET

The room was a good size. However we has ants and the walls were very grubby. We had a wondow without glass so couldn't close out night noises and bugs. The worst thing was the staff. Every time we passed reception we got quizzed on what we were doing and why don't we book tours etc with them. When we were leaving we were getting charged full amount incl. Deposit alredy paid to hostelworld. Took over 10 minutes for the girl to understand this and do the relevant deduction on the bill.

The hotel is not good at all. The rooms are dirty and on the walls missing painting and bathroom rusted. The lady at the reception welcoming and smiling only if you buy what she wants to sell and not very helpful to search and accomodate what you really need. She wanted me to buy her service, but as soon she could not make her dishonest business she sent me to the wrong bus staion where I was about to miss my only bus available for Saigon.

We spent two nights in Vinh Huy. This hostel is not bad. If you ask questions to the reception staff they will help you. You can easily walk to the historic center and go to the beach by bicycle from the hotel. There is a lot of computer with internet connection (in a lot of other place just one) and a swimming pool. But no breakfast.

Fine hostel, location almost anywhere in Hoi An is good. A very clean place, many amenities which is nice. May have been ripped off booking a train ticket though them, and their "taxi" service to the train station is not a taxi, just someone with a car. We felt like we paid too much for those two things.
