The room was clean and peaceful and a true home stay experience in India the owner Mr. Vinod honest and very helpful recommending the best plan for us and not at all pushy. We had not planned to go on a safari, but after talking to some people who had just returned from camel safari we decided to go three days two night. The safari was excellent and good value for money. We had such a lovely time in Bikaner desert we have seen lot of wild animal.village life.

The best place to stay in Bikaner. Vino, the owner is the best tour guide I must say :) Ask him to quickly show around the fascinating havelies in the old city. A great family atmosphere and very caring people. They also have a cute garden to hang out. I hear his camel safaris are great (I did not try due to lack of time). All in all a great experience. I was sick one day and his family served me great warm home made fresh food...very caring atmosphere!! Great value for money.

The guesthouse is rather dirty by my standards and I understand the difficulty of keeping a house clean in a desert as I lived for 9 years in Saudi Arabia. I was appalled that the woman preparing my toast had not washed her hands after scrubbing the floor. The cold only showers were less than average facilities for India. The room was dark, dirty and retained the odors of animals quartered near by. Vino is friendly and helpful, but apparently a sly business man.
