I mean the hostel itself was fine. Wifi worked in the rooms, each bed had its own light and power outlet there. 2 out of 3 staff I interacted with were great. That one other one though... She was terribly rude. Least helpful woman on the planet. Even my roommates said the same thing! She would just point you in random directions. She clearly didn't even know what she was talking about. Her friend who seemed to come and hang out every day knew more than she did.
Super clean rooms, clean bathroom in dorms with good ratio for sharing, and good location close to the Gare du Nord. However only the surrounding blocks were safe, but the outerlying streets were not (especially around metro Barbes-Rochechuart and the area around the Gare du Nord). But that is not the hostel's fault. Reliable hostel experience. Recommended if you need to be near the Gare du Nord which has the RER B line direct to Aeroport Charles de Gaulle.
Easy to find, near train station. Subway nearby. Free WIFI worked well. Very clean room.
Excellent room, nicely decorated and clean. With elevator! Good breakfast and a super reasonable price for Paris. We will return. (We're in our 70's. )
Decent stay. The breakfast was lacking- only a roll, a croissant, and coffee/tea/juice, but it's free so whatever. I don't have any complaints.
Good hostel. Should put a slam damper on the main stairwell door, that thing travels through the whole hotel!
Hi, I had a wonderful stay at Vintage Hostel and can only recommend it further. Great staff! Convenient location considering the metro connections. Good facilities and supportive helpdesk round the clock. Thank you for making my stay in Paris so memorable and comfortable! Keep it going.

10 minutes from gare du Nord this is a very nice clean place. WiFi and breakfast are free. And both are very good. I would highly recommend.
hello ma friend. hostel is realy vintage. evrything long walking dystanc. but very nearly sacrecoeur. i really liked the brakfest very many with good bagette and croysants.... mhmmmmm. Roms are good, many steps, looong way. Very vintage blänket, much warm, such wow balcony. Shower in room, very wet :( Ma friend, you wanna stay here? DANGER, no wather drink! With stink, no good for you ma friend!!!!!! walk two hour to pompidu, long way, feet hurt :(( French people no nice to us, always buschy...
Positives: Bathroom en-suite, clean, good atmosphere, comfortable beds. Location is pretty convenient with 2 Velib stations and a metro station within a few blocks. I recommend walking a bit for restaurants though. Staff is very helpful. Negatives: Lockers are .50 (cheap, but annoying), not in rooms, and not enough for all guests. Rooms are a bit cramped.
Located near the Gare du Nord, which is convenient on arriving but not very convenient any time else as you need a serious trip to get anywhere good. Kitchen with all amenities, standard breakfast. En suite bathrooms seem like a better idea than they actually are: when your room mates are on a different schedule than you are you do have someone right next door turning on the shower etc while you are trying to sleep. Rooms on first floor a little noisy. Very friendly staff.
rooms are a bit smaller than the average hostel, but overall good experience.
Very nice hostel located by a couple of stations which makes it easy to travel around Paris. Have a great happy hour from 6-8. Would recommend to friends.
We were two couples and booked two rooms with attached bathrooms. They were on the 5th floor with private balconies. Rooms were clean, and quiet. There was hot water. The counter staff were very helpful and friendly, free breakfast as advertised (croissant, bread, bagel, juice, milk n coffee) and beer was cheap. Wifi good speed. 15mins walk from Gare du Nord and 10 mins to the nearest Metro. We couldn't have asked for more!

Staff seemed knowledgeable, breakfast was nice, continental. Bathrooms were renovated and clean, but they kept on removing my travelling partner's sheets even though he hadn't checked out.
Good location, close to Nord train station. Anni at reception is super helpful, and very friendly. Free breakfast and a later than usual check-out time.
At the end of our stay in Paris we stayed here just one night before leaving the city since we had an early train. Can't comment much on the atmosphere but met our needs!
It was very nice to stay here - the staff was incredibly helpful and lovely. The hostel itself is nice: pretty clean, full kitchen access, good breakfast, nice rooms. The shower in our bathroom was clogged, but not all of them are. Some of the blankets weren't super clean either, but most nights were warm enough that you didn't need one anyway. The wifi was awesome. I would definitely go back.
