My private room was awesome, 6th floor in the roof level with a cute window and balcony, very French. From the window I could see Sacre Coeur. I think there might only be a couple of rooms in the place with that view. Good common area, good social environment, satisfactory breakfast. The only problem I had was that the internet did not work well when many guests were home in the hotel. It worked OK during the middle of the day, but of course I'd rather be out seeing Paris then.

A little far from the city center, but everything else was great.

This is a great place to stay if you are only passing through Paris, as it's a bit cheaper and it's at an ideal location for train/airport connections. The staff were helpful in that they let me shower and change before we were even allowed to check in (had just got arrived after a 35 hour trip). Breakfast was great! Room were pretty small though with squeaky bunks and fairly gross bathrooms. No lockers. Wouldn't be a good hostel to stay for a long trip.

The common area was nice, but the reception was not helpful. The rooms were dingy and dirty and so was the bathroom. It had a terrible smell. Breakfast was ok.

Looking for a cheap place near a train station in Paris? This is the place for you to be. Good breakfast showers and beds so that's all I need. Plus it's hard to best the location for food bars etc. Great choice

Lots of problems with the key card. Had to recharge it almost everyday. At least no deposit on the card though. Not much atmosphere. No activities going on that are put on by the hostel. Staff were friendly and helpful though.

Eh. Not awful but certainly not amazing. In a pretty sketchy part of town, I found staff to be pretty awesome, until we had to cancel a night and they didn't refund my money (which was supposed to have gone through on my visa the day after we departed.). Breakfast was pretty great, I'll give it that. Also, wifi is spotty as hell. You have to take the wifi pass codes out of a jar at front desk every hour or so, and even then it doesn't always work. Probably would try somewhere else next time.

I would not recommend this hostel to anyone. First there was a ton of mold growing in the shower and some in the bedroom, which made my allergies bad. Second there was only one community storage locker for bags which wasn't always locked. A couple staff members were helpful with locations and directions but most didn't appear happy to be there. They didn't engage their guests like other hostels I've stayed at. It is in a great location. But with everything else included find a different hostel.

We stayed here one night before catching a train south. It was a good walkable distance to Montmartre and opposite the metro station which was good. However, it was very noisy so we didn't get a good night's sleep. But for Paris we thought this was great value for money.

There was so much mold that it looked like the ceiling was going to collapse - in fact, some of the wall was peeling off. The wifi hardly works at all (you can sometimes get it to work in the afternoon in the lobby, but forget about it in the AM or PM or in the rooms). I stayed there again a few days later cause I had already booked it & the bathroom was just as disgusting as the last one. Awful. Also I had booked an all-girl room and I was put in a 4-bedroom room with 3 dudes.

We had a fantastic stay. This hostel provided everything we needed for little amount of time we were actually there. It is also very conveniently located in walking distance of Nord Station. Breakfast was the perfect amount. Only issue was with wifi (barely worked).

The free breakfast is great, especially croissants. Easy to find and staff are helpful. Free WiFi is always helpful, though hi you need to keep logging on. Only bad thing was the shower cubicle was small and the bathroom itself smelt mouldy, especially the shower curtain.

Wifi was poor, rarely worked. Peeling paint every where. Carpets were gross and stained. Morning staff was great, evening staff was rude. Plastic chairs in lounge are al cracked and ready to collapse. Add some fruit or eggs to breakfast. Put a mini fridge in rooms instead of plastic "stool". Would have been nice to keep personal food and drinks cold in room. Get cable tv for rooms so that we can watch movies or real tv shows that are current. Elevator breaks down regularly.

Close to metro and train stations. Nearby grocery shop would have been great had there been facilities to actually cook with - a two burner stove that wasn't working. Breakfast was good, although there wasn't really enough chairs + tables for everyone. The girls working reception were rude and very unhelpful. ...you don't get what you pay for :)

quite good, the people we met there were all foreign, we were the ones to be French. It was very refreshing. We met such amazing people.. Still, the only negative point; the ceiling of the bathroom was a little bit mouldy. Nothing else to say. Apart for that, for that price, it was perfect!

This was a great hostel to stay in. The location is about a 5 to 10 minute walk the Gare Du Nord train station, and is very easy to find. Definitely one of the cleanest hostels I've been in, and in each room is a shower for 4 people that was relatively clean. The staff was helpful and handed out pamphlets to help find our way around and were as accommodating as possible. It was not the most social hostel, but there was definitely ample time to meet people in the common room with free wifi.
