Other than the loudest snoring mthrfckr I've ever heard in my life that kept me up all night, I have nothing really bad to say about this place. Everyone was nice and the doors are card locked. The bathroom ceiling could've been cleaned more often with bleach to get rid of the mold (for sht sakes, even I do it more often in my apartment). Was perfect for one night, even if I didn't get any sleep, but that's unrelated (probably as good for several more nights). Un bon 7 sur 10!

The lobby is nice, the hall floors are falling apart, rooms smell of and are mold-infested. Staff is very nice.

Great social scene and lounge. Reception was very welcoming. Rooms were quite clean, nothing to complain about.

Great hostel! If you're looking for one in Paris, it's within a few minutes walk to the metro. Good atmosphere, staff was friendly and helpful. Only thing is the breakfast was subpar compared to other hostels.

The hotel has a good location in Paris however it is terribly dirty and smelly. I stayed there 3 nights, and they were like night mare when it comes to cleanness. If I ever go to Paris again, I will not stay there.

Well, the staff there were nice and friendly. They are also willing to help. The main limitation is just the wifi network - it is FREE but poor access once you get on the first floor..therefore, you can just stay in the lobby if you really want to work.

The location is really nice. The lounge facility is clean and modern but the rooms are run down. The shower also let water run out all over the they give you a wifi password which can only be used in the common area and expires every hour and if you leave the wifi area even for a sec if logs you off & you must request a new code. The staff was very nice. Full kitchen for use!

The hostel is clearly going through a renovation, from hotel to hostel. The paint is flaking off the walls, and it seems that every bedroom was intended to have one double or single bed. Showers have curtains only, so water floods the bathroom. Stayed in two seperate rooms during our stay, thanks to one particularly awesome staff member who helped us book all of our outtings in Paris, and gave us a room upgrade the first night. Almost no cooking facilities, only one hotplate worked, only one pot

Apparently free wifi does not mean free at the hostel. We were only able ot use the internet for one hour which is crazy. The internet was the only I had to be able to communicate with my family while I was abroad and by not having access to the internet at all times made it really hard to inform my family that I was doing fine. The hostel needs to inform people before they book the hostel about their internet policy. The free internet was one of the reasons I choose that hostel!

Vintage hostel is perfectly situated close to Gare du Nord *train station* so it makes for a short walk for anybody coming into Paris by train, or metro from CDG airport. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the free breakfast was really good too. The only drawback is that there is certainly an older crowd at this hostel, and there was little to know *party* atmosphere.

I'd stay in various hostels in Paris, and since there weren't any place on them I stay in Vintage... one of the worst hostels I've ever stay... rooms where really old and ugly, there where cables cover with tape, a lot of dust in the carpet and it was really expensive!!!!!

Good place to stay in Paris. Not that expensive (because everything is expensive in Paris), good staff, clean facilities, it is near the main train/metro/RER station, Gare du Nord - in Paris things are far from each other, so being near Gare du Nord is really nice. The only thing I'd change is the internet, because only the wi-fi is free, if you use one of their computers, you have to pay.

1)Please provide wifi around the room to enable tourists to access the internet with more comfort. 2)Please provide a list of halal food restaurants for Muslim tourists.

Everything was really tight, and a little small. I expected more for what I paid. The location was great and the breakfast were good. Staff were friendly, but didn't go out of their way.

I have stayed in many hostels and budget hotels all over the world, and the Vintage Hostel is in the top 3 worst places I have ever stayed. The physical condition and cleanliness of this place is something that I would expect in a 3rd world country, not in Paris. My lady was so upset that it almost ruined our vacation. I do not understand how this place can possibly get good ratings. As a seasoned budget traveler, I strongly recommend that you do not stay at the Vintage Hostel in Paris.

The location is just what is described, within walking distance to Gare du Nord and Sacre Coeur, although I don't know if Gare du Nord is one of the safest areas in Paris. The hostel condition is good, the room was clean when we came. The wifi access is good as well and the breakfast is more than adequate, oh and you can cook your own meal! almost anytime. There is a mix of friendly and not-so friendly staffs, but all in all they were all helpful :)
