Many areas of peeling paint throughout facility and our room. Our room had dirty carpet and mattress coverings and blankets were dirty with hair and stains. Bathroom was clean. Sheets were given to us and were clean. Facility is air conditioned, but when we called to ask about it, the system was off. As long as it is cool enough to have windows open, I guess the A/C isn't used? It's just a noisy street to have windows open to sleep. Windows did a great job of blocking street noise.

Nothing special about this Place, not as Clean as I would've liked - the facilities need major renovation and its a bit Crowded. Probably far better places to stay for the money if you keep searching, I wouldn't stay there Again. An Average place at Best.

A wonderful place to stay in beautiful Paris! :) Rooms nice and clean, bathrooms could use new paint. Lady at the front desk could look a little less bored. :D Once my keycard for the room was not working and so I went to the desk and they simply asked me for my roomnumber and swiped it and it was a key again - I WAS NOT ASKED FOR ANY IDENTIFICATION nor was made sure I really belonged in that room I named even though the guy had never seen me before. I could have found that card somewhere!!

Overall, it was a great hostel and I have nothing comes to mind that needs improvement. Some small nuisances were that wifi needed to be reset and that the computer in the lobby charged money to surf the web. Everything was great.

The shower room is a bit small. The wall is a bit thin, some night we can hear our neighbours speaks too well. The breakfast is great. There are various choices to eat.

The room was clean, but the carpet was very stained. Very good croissants for breakfast.

The hostel served our purpose for our stay in Paris. However, it is pretty easy to tell that since the building is old, it was no longer up-to-date to be called a hotel, hence hostel. The breakfast was robust, and the location was prime. However, the 'lift' can barely fit one person, the rooms are rundown, and the bathrooms lack good ventilation. Furthermore, every time you want to use the internet you need a new individual username and password, and it lacks reliability.

Overall this hostel is very average. Nothing in particular stands out except that you needed to put a code in every hour when on the Internet which was quite inconvenient. Also have to not only make your own bed but tear it down when you leave. Not terrible but more than I wanted to deal with when so exhausted. Would stay here in a pinch but I'd prefer to stay elsewhere.

Well located, near Gare du Nord and Montmartre. There are no lockers inside the rooms.

The room and shower room is a bit small but comparing to the price is very acceptable. The painting in the toilet was ware off. The staffs are nice and friendly. There is a supermarket next door. It is few minute walk from Metro Anver. If you have big suitcase and baggages. It is easier to take the bus number 54 from Gare du Nord to Anvers. The breakfast is excellent (there are various of choices to eat). It is very value for the money.

Friendly and helpful staff. Clean rooms and communal areas. Our stay was great fun - travelled to Paris with my 20-year-old daughter so the perfect base for us during our stay - we loved Vintage Hostel :-)

The staff were very helpful. One was a bit rude but ok. Would be good if wifi was in the rooms. Maybe some lounges and a bar would be nice too.

The breakfast was great and the catering staff really nice. The cooking fascilities were very limited for such a large hostel anf it would hevr been good to have had a real knife rather than just plastic ones. The room was OK but could have done with painting and a good clean. The bathroom was good - clean and the shower was lovely and hot. Great location, very close to Gard Du Nord and Sacre Coeur. Good super market round the corner and nice, cheap bistro just up the road.
