Bathroom wasn't clean (kind of growing) but the location more than made up for it. Trains close by aswell as some monuments.

Clean enough hostel, okay all in all but anyone can ask for the key and let themselves into the luggage store room. The area is maybe a little dodgy but not awful if you're with at least one other traveller. when I was staying I didnt meet anybody and the atmosphere was pretty dead. If I had to stay there again for some reason I wouldn't grumble. Nothing special though.

Not great. Tiny rooms not very clean. Staff were helpful enough. Not much happening in the hostel

The staff was really nice and friendly. There was a nice common room to hang out in. There was no safe in my room. Use the internet across the street instead of the one provided by the hostel. Overall clean.

Had a much better stay the second time round. The receptionist mentioned referred in a previous review as a Moby look-alike was actually brilliant! Our this time could do with a refurbishment, but otherwise it made for an enjoyable stay.

For 30 euros a night in the center of Paris you get what you pay for. The room was a bit scruffy and the bathroom spotlight didn't quite work, and the elevator broke the day we left and carried our luggage downstairs by the stairs. But there's free internet (if you have your own computer), hot water with a good water pressure and clean sheets, not to mention the location right downhill from Sacre Coeur, so I'm happy. The included breakfast is not great, but there are plenty of brasseries nearby.

Good breakfast, internet wasn't too expensive and so close to the train station and supermarket. Staff always seemed distracted when they served me (2 people waiting in front of me and the lady was laughing and chatting to her collegues), puddle on the bathroom floor after a shower, key card stopped working twice (not so bad if I wasn't on the third floor), and my food got taken from the kitchen.

Close to Gare du Nord train station. Very clean and cosy rooms. Not the place to stay if you are looking to meet people or for a particularly fun atmosphere - no guest activities available in this hostel. We asked the man at reception about walking tours, and he didn't seem to understand what we were asking - luckily we stumbled upon brochures for the free walking tours. Having to pay for wifi is not convenient. Breakfast is top choice though.

For a last minute hostel it was a pretty good find! The staff was friendly and the rooms were clean. They had maps available which was really appreciated. The location was just a five-ten minute walk from the train station, as well as, La Sacre Coeur.

Our four bedroom-dorm was EXTREMELY small. It was impossible to open the window since the street outside was very noisy. The bathroom was tiny, yet very clean. Breakfast cotained of cereals and bred rools and croissants, but there was a sign telling us that there was just one bred roll OR croissant for each person (which everyone ignored) Location is really good, right in the heart of Montmartre, a ten minutes' walk from Gare du Nord, it is easy to reach any of the sights by metro.

The hostel was convenient, clean and breakfast was good. The directions to find the hostel from Gare du Nord are not helpful and very confusing. There was no orientation from the staff so had to find my way around. The beds were squeaky though but otherwise the hostel was great.

The entrance to the hostel is OK however the rooms are very very dated ( I stayed on 2 sep nights a few days apart and both were as bad as each other ), and the bathrooms stank of damp. The rooms were also very small and had limited space to put luggage. The location wasnt too bad , although the nearest metro station isnt gare du nord as advertised , its the next stop along. i dont think i woudl stay here agin.

It is quite old Hostel.Rooms are small,no lockers in the room where I was. The good thing is access to the kitchen with a dinning area where you can relax after tiring day.The strongest point is the location.Montmarte region is very cosy and clean. If I was suppose to come back to Paris I would therefore consider to stay near there. The strong point is also metro connection but in Paris in is close to metro everywhere. And it is very loud at night if your room is in front the street.I give 6/10

There was nearly a hole in one of the walls in the room. And the carpet really needs to be changed, it was full of stains which made it look really disgusting. Staff was very friendly and helpful!
