Honestly, I was a bit shocked. I expected a good looking property given the price and reviews. But it's just an old apartment with two tiny dorm rooms with 4 beds no windows. Is it an old historical place? to me, looked just as an old apartment. Old shower, old kitchen, old everything. No street sign, difficult to find...almost nobody there. quite depressing. I only had 2 days in Taipei. Sadly, I stayed there. The people who work there are nice and helpful though.

Funky, relaxed atmosphere with a Super friendly host who is full of great tips - just ask and he'll have great ideas for eats and sights. The place is hard to find - so let them know when you are coming so they can keep an eye out for you!

This hostel is awesome! If you appreciate stylish 1960s decor, then this is the place for you. It's a super charming converted old house. I stayed in the "Harry Potter' room under the stairs and it was a memorable experience. The hostel is charming and makes you feel right at home. It is located next to Dihua street, which is filled with historical buildings and traditional tea shops and dried fruit shops. This makes for a fantastic cultural experience. I would definitely stay here again.
