Hi, we have been in this familary and nice Hostel on this wonderfull place for 4 days in February 2012. The Hostelowner had been very friendly, very obliging and have a great knowladge of the flora and fauna in there Home. We felt very well and was a little bit upset that we had to go after this 4 days. Thank you very much and kind regards from Munich, Carola and Thomas

Easily the best place we stayed at in the whole of Costa Rica! They are so nice there and make it feel like home for you and also very knowledgeable with everything to do with the whole area. We took a day trip with Emelio (who runs the place) in Corcavardo and had an amazing day seeing lots of animals! we stayed in the tents there and we definately come back and stay again, best view and place in drake bay!

I LOVED this hostel. After a mix up with our booking, we were upgraded to a private room at no extra charge. The breakfast was great, organic fruit from the family´s own plantation. Emilio and Elbert were amazing. Emilio was so helpful and was an awesome guide on our Corcovado tour. Elbert did our night tour which was in the secundary and primary forest surroundng their fruit plants. He was full of jokes and we saw many awesome animals. This is the best hostel I have ever stayed in.

absolutely stunning location! We booked the blue tent, and it was the most beautiful location we stayed at in Costa Rica. Emilio, the owner, was very hospitable and had tons and tons of knowledge about the area. His tour to Corcovado was amazing. Emilio was an outstanding host. Drake was a nice place, but also a bit noisy in the weekend. I would definitely recommend Vista Drake!
