Great hostel, well located, clean and friendly staff. The Air conditioning in the rooms might not be enough for summer time

Nice place. friendly staff. Good location if you dont mind using the subway. Not really a party atmosphere. Rooms were sweet and had power points in lockers.
Staff there are great and the breakfast is very nice. In a chic part of Sao Paolo, don't let people tell you "Sao Paulo is just a big dirty city". Villa Madelina is beautiful and rockin' at the same time.
Despite all the hills ;) lol, this was a great place to stay! The downstairs is really cool and welcoming and the staff were super helpful, upstairs is another great common room with a smaller tv and great kitchen! The concrete pods could eitherbe the coolest thing or the worst... until you get there, they are super cool with outlets and lights in them! Outlets in the lockers too! All the bathrooms were nice and clean. Zero bad things to say about this hostel! Thanks for a great stay viva!
I had a great stay at Viva Design Hostel. The hostel was very clean and really thought of what its guests needed. The lockers were large enough to store my entire backpack, and the outlets in the lockers and in each individual bed are brilliant. The cubby beds really do feel like you have your own room in a dorm. The staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly, they made you feel like it was home. The location is great for the Metro and for the fun on Vila Madalena's main street.
It's the best hostel I stayed in during my S.America trip! They designed the beds so that you and fellow travellers won't see each other when sleeping. Really nice design, pay attention to small details, like power port in the locker so you don't need to worry about your gadget when charging it, the lighting, etc. It's very clean place too, the kicthen, bathroom, common and tv room, everything. Felt like home. Located in lively Vila Madalena area, 5 mins walk from metro stn. I'd stay here again
Good location walkable to bars, restaurants (Vila Madelena area) and metro. We stayed in a 6 bed dorm where each bunk was built from breeze blocks partially enclosed to give an element of privacy and each having its own electric socket and light. Nice big communal areas and kitchen.
Great place, great staff. The owner is so dedicated for his hostel and he was showing every effort to make it a perfect place for people to stay. The staff was very prompt on requests to cleaning the room and toilet. The location is very near to attractions like batman alley, vila madalena. Highly recommended hostel.
Overall a nice hostel. Good location, fairly easy to get to from the airport, excellent facilities and helpful staff.
The staff at this hostel really warmed the place up. It is very clean and close to the major sights in Vila Madelena. I would definitely recommend it.
Nice clean safe friendly staff A great memory in sao paulo
Lovely clean new building run by motivated and very friendly staff. No complaints at all. Generous breakfast.
Super helpful and kind staff mixed with incredible beds and facilities made for a great experience. The hostel is a very short, scenic walk to and from the metro as well. I will mention that it is a calmer atmosphere with older, more antisocial guests.

I've been travelling for over 8 months through South America and this has to be one of the most well thought out hostels I've stayed at. It's only 6 months old so everything is in great condition. Concrete bunk beds give you the feeling you have your own private cabin - LED lights show you to your bed without having to wake up your room mates. Chargers in all of the lockers and by your bed. Location is also good - about 5-10 minute walk from the metro station. Highly recommended.
Well, the house is amazing. Very modern, calm and neat. The location is awesome and the breakfast delicious. I really want to go back some time.

Great place and located in an upscale neighborhood. I felt safe walking around the area even at 3am. The downside is that it isn't very close to Paulista Avenue and everything downtown has to offer so I had to make use of the metro a lot. Also not the most social atmosphere, but I did meet quite a few interesting people while staying there.
Great beds and wifi, but the location is for those who don't mind walking up and down hills. The neighborhood is great though.
Brand new hostel. All the facilities are amazing. The kitchen and common areas are great, everything is very clean and well thought. Rooms are cool too, the way the beds are designed it makes you feel you are alone in the room. It is close to the metro Vila Madalena and a few blocks away from the bar-party district. Owner is really nice and chill.
cool spot in a nice neighborhood. the beds are comfy and clean. the breakfast was only ok, sort of basic brazilian hostel stuff nothing fancy.
I traveled south america for 3 and half moths. I ve never seen this kind of hostel. I mean the bed was really nice. Interior is really perfect. And livingriom is really nice and clean, and kitchen is also big and clean. If u visit sao paulo, u must come to this hostel. This hostel is very easy to find near subway station. U just need to walk only 5-8 mins.
