It´s okay if you´re looking for a place to sleep -but definitely not more! There´s no reception and it was a little bit annoying that we couldn´t leave our luggage there when we checked out. And we had to pay 50€ comission!!! There´s no kitchen and only one bathroom with one toilet inside for the whole hostel. The room was very small and in my opinion it´s expensive for what you get!

Very good place to stay, so.. if you need internet access point, unfortunately don't have... and breakfast is not incluse on price!

No working WiFi, which caused us a great deal of hassle. Our sheets were not clean, there was some smudges and someone's long dark hair on sheets. Certainly not worth the money!!

Great location and good price for private room.

Well stocked bathroom. Broken handles on doors and windows. Hot rooms - no air-con. Good location. Unhelpful staff - previous hostels gave info about things to do/places to go, map of area etc

Pros: Location Cons: Absent staff Rude staff Additional charges added on arrival Bare rooms - only a bed and a small table, nowhere to hang clothes/towels Dirty rooms Large gap at the bottom of the doors to rooms (noisy, little privacy) Only stay here if you're desperate.

The location is easily accessible from Tram. there is no breakfast. Addtional 1 € for towels. Toilets and room are clean. There is a lot of disturbance coming from the street (windows closed) incase your room is on the side of the street. Checkin is strictly starting from 15:30, incase you arrive early then its a bit of trouble to wait somewhere else with all your luggage.

Terrible communication, service and incredibly rude staff! They lied throughout my correspondence with them. Disgusting behaviour. Do not stay here or even attempt to book- they will try and steal your money!

Don´t stay there!!!!

We booked the room,I called the hotel and they said they have availability, but when we got there, there was no availability,so they tried to find a new place, but they couldn´t,so we stayed in the middle of nowhere, and the y just returned us 6 euros for the reservation. And we had to find a new hotel by ourselves at a very hour late. The owner of the hotel or recepcionist never showed up,and the owner of a jewelry next door attend us. Extremely bad service, not recomend this place

The Staff that helped me were so unfriendly, unavailable, and rushed me to pay so they could go eat dinner with their friends. The rooms are essentially nothing more than an excuse to lock a mattress in the minimum possible subdivision.

All the doors and locks are loosely fitted and not trustworthy, these could be improved. Cleanliness could also be improved. However, easy to access and good location.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Big and clean bathroom. Bed and breakfast is just about 7 minutes walk from van Gogh museum. Super super location. Simple room but for the price they offer, you cannot expect too much.

Friendly hostess, very clean house. Big clean shared bathroom. House was recently renovated and newly painted. We could walk to the leidseplein in 3 minutes. Vondelpark was behind the guest house. The tram stopped almost in front of the door. We walked to van gogh museum. Was very convenient place for all our needs. I shall certainly recommend it.

No reception, hostel entrance just a tiny door located between 2 stores. arrived earlier than anticipated, knocked on the door and no1 came. Finally a couple who was staying at the hostel & going out for the day came out & let me use their phone to call the number listed on the website. The owner of the hostel said she would be there in 10 minutes. 15 minutes later she came & unlocked the door, gave me keys & showed me to my room. Shower was out of order. No breakfast, no wifi. Very comfy bed

We didn't even end up staying here as we got an email the day before our arrival saying they had an 'inventory' problem and didn't have a room for us, asking if we wanted them to book us somewhere else. After calling up to understand where this proposed room would be and price, the lady was impossible to communicate with, literally only knew how to say 'Do you want us to book another room for you or not?'. Not to mention I had to keep calling to arrange a random meeting point to get the deposit!

We waited outside the hostel, because the landlady was late. When she came, she was very angry for us waiting outside, it doesn't give good image for here. We have made reservation the day before arrival, they haven't got any information for that. There weren't any facilities they had promise. Room was VERY poor, just two matresses in the floor , AND dirty sheets from last customer! The price was much higher than it was supposed to be, she raised it all the time.

Very unpleasant stay: We booked a double bed room, we just had a bad twin bed room the street was very noisy, so we couldn't sleep very well there was no curtain on the window so the sunlight comes straight into your eyes and you cannot sleep the owner asks for the city tax (wich is 5%) but after calculate it I noticed that she took us 10% of the price the owner didn't allow us to leeave our bags somewhere in the "hostel" for our last day so we spend our last day with our luggages in the city

Just one bathroom at second floor for all the rooms. Everything was work in progress. At 8 a.m. a lots of noise from the bricklayer in the appartament. Two spring mattresses lie in the floor and that's it! Incredible. The owner ask me for an extra fee to make the check in after 8 p.m. There was nothing in the room, just two mattresses. I ask for a towels and they bringh me an old and dirty towel and they ask me one euro! Incredible place. No one in the building to help you. Everywere was dirty.
