Excellent location at the lake and close to the railway station. The hostel is clean and the staff was very helpfull. Rooms did not have much character but the common area was perfect for some reading, talking. The view at the the lake is superb. Breakfast was great for a hostel whit lot's of fruit from the next door organic farm. Only negative aspect was that I did not totally fit in the bed but that's because I am not as tiny as the average norwegian. Had to put my mattress on the floor:).

Hostel is located in the Lake side. Beautiful scenery at the door step. It is walkable location from the Railway station and it has a Restaurant inside. We stayed there only for a day but my eyes as well as my camera will never forget the beautiful landscape and the lake near the Hostel.

the location - on a lake and 10 mins from the rail station & hiking trails - was perfect. they also referred us to a great rafting center who picked us up & dropped us off at the rail station. the shower was a bit cramped in the bathroom but everything else was perfect. very friendly front staff - made a photocopy of bus schedule - and reasonable breakfast to start the day (included).

It's a 10-15 minute walk from the station, and that's okay once you arrive and are greeted by really friendly and welcoming staff. There are big common areas, an excellent breakfast buffet, restaurant for dinner and awesome views of the lake. Again, great staff.
