We had a great time staying at Vy Khanh, Vy is nice, gave us all important information for our DIY City Tour, gave us even a detailed and helpful map. Her mom is nice, even offered us a coffee before we start our day. The location is superb, just walking distance to famous tourist attractions. We booked our tours through them as well. We enjoyed the Cu Chi Tour. We were able to hang out for afternoon snacks with Mr Binh afterwards. He is such a brilliant tour guide. Lots of stories to tell.

Perfect location, staff was very helpful. Room was very clean, hot water and wifi worked well. Owner gave us a cup of coffee every monrning, it was so great. I highly recommend!!!

Great little hostel in a nice location. The owners of the hostel were always around and helpful. Our room was a large double, clean, secure and very comfortable! Definitely a large recommendation for this hostel from two americans.

The nicest atmosphere in any hostel we've stayed at in the last 3 months. Its family-run and you are made feel so welcome from the minute you arrive. The staff are excellent and really helpful. Rooms are spotless, location is great and there is free wifi as well as 2 free internet computers. I was feeling unwell on one day in Saigon and they even offered me soup and tea on a number of occasions. This hostel really goes beyond the call of duty in terms of making you feel welcome. Brill!!

Great guesthouse in a quiet street near the backpacker area, with very friendly owners. The best location to visit HCMC. Thanks for this enjoyable stay.

Miss Vy and her family were really nice and helpful! Miss Vy has some good tips for your travel and for the city. The room was clean and nice. Also the bathroom. The alley where the guesthouse is situated is calm (but a rooster will maybe wake you up in the morning ;) ) and mostly everything is in walking distance. And try the vietnamese coffee - it's the best!

The staff are extremely helpful--someone even walked us over to a nearby travel agency to buy train tickets so that we wouldn't be overcharged in commission. Because the hostel/hotel is removed from the street, it is very quiet unlike what I'd expect the hotels on the main street would be with all the loud traffic from buses, trucks and scooters honking at all hours. The room was simple but very clean, the bathroom and shower was large for Vietnam, and the air con was appreciated.

It was a good experience to stay at Vykhanh while I was in Saigon. The owner (Vy) and the people there are friendly and helpful. And most important of all, the place is clean and comfortable.

Vy Khanh Hostel was the best hotel experience I had while in Vietnam (including stays at the Sheraton). The kindness and friendliness of the owner, Ms. Vy, is what separates this place from all others. From the moment I entered, she took care of everything. After a tiring trip from Cambodia, it was so nice to quickly be given a set of keys, shown my room, given a cold drink... and allowed to shower and nap before finalizing my check-in. Also loved my room - clean, bright and modern.

Great staff and location. We really enjoyed the time there. If we go to Saigon again, we will definitely stay there.

Great guesthouse in Saigon in the Pham Ngu Lao area.We stayed in the private room across from the main guesthouse, which had a nice private shower, powerful A/C, cable TV, and one of the most comfortable beds in SE Asia on our trip! Chi greeted us with numerous hugs and was always ready with a cold drink for us. Vy scheduled our tours to the Mekong Delta, Cu Chi Tunnels (awesome), water puppet show & boat cruise dinner, & airport transfer, making it so easy to maximize our time here in Saigon.

Vy has been a tremendous host and more. She helps her guests anyway she can. The room is very clean compared to others nearby. Not that the others are dirty, but at her place is extra clean. I enjoyed my stay very much. Vy even helped me after I have checked out from her hostel. I couldn't ask for a better stay. This place is better than great! I will definitely stay here again when I return to Ho Chi Minh.

Very friendly owners, we enjoyed our short stay here. Free computers with internet downstairs. More of a place to spend the night than hangout which is what we were looking for. We ate several times at Cafe Kim (breakfast & lunch), recommended by the owner. Good, simple food at a good price.

We stayed at Vy Khanh Hostel four times while we travelled around the south of Vietnam and every single time we were made to feel like family. The guesthouse is in a great location, is very clean and the rooms are great! Vy and her family were so nice and accommodating and didn't hesitate to provide help or travel tips when asked. I can't recommend staying here enough!

Great location, and great price for what you get! The staff were extremely nice, and helped us organize all of our tours as well as suggesting good places to go around the city. Would highly recommend this place to others visiting Saigon!

Miss Vy is extremely knowledgeable about the city and can direct you to the best value for your money. She was extremely gracious and helpful in arranging for tours and connections for the next leg of the journey. I witnessed her personally escort travellers to nearby hostels/hotels when she could not accommodate. The rest of the family involved in accomodation were friendly and very kind. Fresh fruit, tea and coffeee each morning. Top notch spot!

Perfect location close to all the main attractions in Saigon, comfortable room, very friendly, smiling and helpful people in this guesthouse that I recommend for sure. Like they say, you come as a guest but leave as a part of the family and that is true. Even if I was from a total different country, I felt like at home here.

The whole family were a delight to deal with - so helpful when it came to booking tours or telling me good places to go and eat. Room was very clean.
